PRELUDE

Overture from Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn

GATHERING AND GREETING

CALL TO WORSHIP
One: We come to worship searching for a sign of Gods presence, hungering for a
deeper connection with our creator.
All: We come seeking you, God.
One: We ask that you make your presence known to us in our singing, as we lift
our prayers, as we hear your word.
Women and Children Only: We come seeking you, God.
One: We need to know that you are at work in the world around us. We need to
know that you are at work in our lives.
Children Only: We come seeking you, God.
One voice: Send us the gift of your Spirit so that you may be known to us even in
the silence and the stillness.

PASTORAL PRAYER
THE LORDS PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
