-5Information about the outdoor sensor:

The sensor is intended for wallmounting or tabletop use
and can be glued to a dry, clean surface with the included
double-sided tape (yellow side).
To test the signal transmission of the sensor, press the
"TX/RESET" button (B) on the back side of the sensor.
Unscrew the 4 screws on the back side of the sensor and
remove the back cover. Press the "TX/RESET" button for
3 seconds to restart the sensor. The sensor must now be
registered at the station.
Please position the sensor in a roofed area. It is weather
resistant but it should not come into direct contact with
water or sunlight.
The sensor transmits the temperature signal on the
frequency 433MHz and has a range of approx. 30m
outdoors. The transmission functions best if no obstacles
are between the station and the sensor (examples:
Thermopen glass, metal beams, brick walls).
If your station cannot receive the outdoor temperature,
please move the sensor closer to the station. It may also
become necessary to replace the batteries.
Possible problems:
The clock does not receive the time signal:
Please move your station to another position and consider
that an electrical appliance such as a PC, telephone, radio or
TV may cause electromagnetic interference that could
influence the reception of the time signal.
Other possible interferences for the reception: strong
building materials (metal), large landmasses (hills),
atmospheric interference.
It may also be necessary to replace the batteries.
If radio-signal reception is not possible at all, please set
the clock manually.
The outdoor temperature is not displayed:
Press and hold the "Zz/CHANNEL" button for 3 seconds
and then wait for 2 or 3 minutes.
The outdoor temperature is often lost:
Reduce the distance between the station and the sensor
(30m max. with clear line of sight and no obstacles)
Check the distance to possible sources of interference (at
least 1.5m to any phones, TV, radio computers etc.
Other appliances in neighboring houses that also use the
433MHz frequency may cause problems.
Check the placement of your station (proximity to metal
building parts, metal doors, concrete ie. cellar large highrise
building)
Should these measures remain unsuccessful please restart
both units as described on page 2.
