Your temperature station should not be exposed to
humiditiy or direct sunlight.
Please remove the battery interrupter first to activate your
temperature station.
The unit is now operational.
During the first 4-5 minutes your temperature station will
attempt to receive the signal from the outdoor sensor. The
radio waves in the display will blink (D1) adjacent to the
channel display. The radio tower will appear without radio
waves.
Position the sensor and the station side by side. Now
insert the batteries into the sensor within the next 2
minutes. Unscrew the 4 screws on the back side of the
sensor, remove the back cover and insert the batteries in
the correct polarity. Please take care not to remove the
rubber gasket that runs along the outside of the case.
Replace the back cover and tighten the 4 screws.
Channel 1 will now be registered and the outdoor
temperature will appear in the display (D1). Channels 2
and 3 may be set in the same way, if you wish to install
additional outdoor sensors.
A registered Channel will not receive any additional
sensors.
If you have multiple sensors connected to your station,
you may cycle through them by pressing the
"Zz/CHANNEL" button. When a round arrow is displayed
the station will autocycle through all available sensors.
-Your temperature station will now attempt to receive the
radio time signal and the reception signal will appear
partially on the display (D4).
-3Attention:
During this operation, no other functions may be used.
Depending on your distance to the transmitting station,
reception of the signal may take from 5 minutes to several
hours.
Upon successful reception the radio antenna symbol with
radio waves will appear on the display and the correct
time and date will be set automatically. If the radio antenna
symbol does not appear, radio reception is currently not
possible.
Should your clock not set itself within 5 minutes, please try
again at a different location or set the clock manually.
