Job Purpose

Provide information to assist the development of the integrated operational plans for the current schedule and
the next declared IATA seasons, up to the plan handover to the AOCC (typically 24-48 hours before day of
ops).
Support the analysis of performance and demand factors to enable improvement in the planning of schedule
and improve levels of service and operation

Qualification and Education:
The job holder will hold a further educational qualification, for example A Level, in a numerical and or analytical
subject.
Experience:
At least 0-2 years experience in a research, planning or engineering role, preferably within the aviation sector.
Demonstrable experience in developing and using simulation and/or planning tools. Proven ability to communicate
data and information in a clear and concise manner.
Training:
Developmental training is required in any area for professional development and/or mandatory purposes.
Knowledge:
Understanding of the key airport processes and operations.
Other desirable knowledge:
Customer Service Knowledge
ICAO, IATA and ACI regulations

Teamwork and Collaboration is a key element of the role. He/she will be required to collaborate with the Planners
across the department to maximise efficiency of capacity planning. The job holder will be a competent written
communicator, but will receive extensive guidance on the analysis and presentation / writing requirements of the
role.

Proposed
The job has a direct impact on the operational costs of the airport, through the development of operational plans. It
also has an indirect impact on revenue though the provision of data supporting the seasonal declaration process
and longer-term capacity planning.

Proposed:
The job holder will mostly work in an office environment on a shift pattern, the length of which is dependent on the
area of responsibility. He/she will be expected to meet demanding deadlines and will have the ability to withstand
high levels of stress, adapt priorities, and respond rapidly. The nature of this role may require working outside
'normal office hours' and in an operational environment from time to time. The role might also involve availability on
call on roster basis to respond to events.
