God Calls Us
To Worship
The Call To Worship
~ based on Isaiah 12 ~
Leader: Sing praise, for the Lord has
done great things. Let this be known in
all the earth.
Unison: Surely God is my salvation; I
will trust, and will not be afraid; for the
Lord God is my strength and my song,
and He has become my salvation.
Leader: With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.
Unison: Give thanks to the Lord, call
upon His name; make known His deeds
among the peoples, proclaim that His
Name is exalted.
Leader: Sing praises to the Lord, for He
has done great things. Let this be known
in all the earth.

Our Offerings
Christ Is Risen
Let no one caught in sin remain
Inside the lie of inward shame
We fix our eyes upon the cross
And run to him who showed great love
And bled for us / Freely you bled, for us
chorus
Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling over death by death
Come awake, come awake!
Come and rise up from the grave!
Christ is risen from the dead
We are one with him again
Come awake, come awake!
Come and rise up from the grave!
Beneath the weight of all our sin
You bow to none but heavens will
No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown
No burden great can hold you down
In strength you reign
Forever let your church proclaim
(repeat chorus)
bridge
Oh death! Where is your sting?
Oh hell! Where is your victory?
Oh Church! Come stand in the light!
The glory of God has defeated the night!
Oh death! Where is your sting?
Oh hell! Where is your victory?
Oh Church! Come stand in the light!
Our God is not dead
He's alive! He's alive!

Thanks For
Joining Us For
Worship Today
On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate a meal together after the service.
These are intentional times of meeting new friends and catching up with old friends.
We want to be intentional in seeking to build relationships and our monthly potluck
luncheons are a perfect opportunity to do so. Please bring food for yourself / your
family plus extra to share with our guests.
Unison: Amen!
Young adults (post-high school) are invited to a lunch with special guest, Bryan
Clarke. Bryan is a chaplain / campus minister at the University of Alberta and works
with a campus ministry called GraceFinder. Bryan will be joining us and addressing
some relevant issues to young adults seeking to navigate the world of relationships
and decisions. Plenty of time for Q&A. Location TBD.

Relationships. They are the stuff of life. With them we can prosper. Without them,
we flounder. But the big question is, How do we navigate relationships in our
modern world where there seems to be so much confusion about relationships? Join
us this summer as we take a look at relationships through the lens of the gospel of
Jesus Christ.
Each week there will be a time of Q & A right after the sermon. Pastor John will also
be available in the boardroom after the service for further discussion, questions &
prayer.
There will be no service at the Confederation Park Activity Centre on September 6th
due to the church retreat. We invite you to join us at Camp Harmattan for our
Sunday morning worship service. Others are welcome to join us for the service &
afternoon on Sunday (there will be a small fee to have lunch and/or dinner).
