Journey Peterpan Becoming Noah Band.

Peterpan was formed in 1997, originally named Topi when Andhika (keyboards)
formed the band hat by getting younger class at SMU 2 Bandung, Uki (guitar), as well as
playmates, Abel (bass) and Ari (drums). Uki also invited his friend Ariel junior who fill the
vocal position. With formations like that, they started performing and playing music wing

Peterpan professional journey began in 2001 with expanded from caf to caf in

sent to the demo, "Sahabat", "Mimpi Yang sempurna", and "Taman Langit", was chosen the

In August 2004, Peterpan released 2nd album titled: "Bintang di Surga".The album
has sold 350,000 copies within two weeks after release and in early January 2005 has reached
1.7 million copies. In February 2005, the album reached sales 2 million copies. And
according to the records, this album could sell as many as 3 million copies.
At the beginning of 2005, Peterpan won the award for favorite artist at the MTV Asia
Aid Indonesia on February 9, 2005 in Bangkok. In Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI), 2005,
Peterpan tops nomination by getting 11 nominations. Four of them scored by the song "Ada
Apa Denganmu". Of the 11 nominations, Peterpan got 7 awards, among others, for "best
band", "best album", "graphic design best album" and "best production work", because the
album "Bintang di Surga:. In the event SCTV Music Awards 2005p, Peterpan received an
award in the category "Album Pop Group Ngetop" 'and "Songs Most Ngetop".
On 4 November 2006, Andika and Indra, officially out of the band members. Both
former personnel eventually formed another group called The Titans. Post-discharge Andika
and Indra, their position is occupied by two additional musicians, namely Lucky and David.
Having shaken by divisions among the members, the band once again misfortune befalls, that
with the advent of video scenes case someone like Ariel Peterpan. This case resulted in the
arrest of Ariel on June 22, 2010. However, this case did not dampen the spirit of fans
Peterpan. And to answer their fans longing, Ariel and his friends held several performances in

new name. They just choose one of four names. But only the name "NOAH" that always
