PREFACE

No professional curriculum is considered complete without work

experience. Every individual who is doing management studies has to undergo this
phase to practical study before he/she can consider himself/herself fully qualified as
a potential manager. It gives me an immense pleasure to put my project on MPIR
Examination “IS THERE ANY NEED FOR REVIEW”.

Professional competence describes the state-of-the-art, Area- knowledge,

expertise and skill relevant for performing excellently within a specific functional
department. This competence insures that technical knowledge is both present and
used within a firm for the welfare of its stake-holders.

Therefore, HR Initiatives and programs have become a priority for Human

Resources. It is difficult for a common man to understand each and every aspect of
the organization. I have tried to present it in a lucid manner through the language of
common man so that everyone may understand the complications in practice.
Complications of the project have been made clear by suitable data wherever
necessary.

The purpose of this training was to have practical experience of working in

an organization. This report is an attempt to have an overview of various functions
of corporate HR and go through the detail of the process and functions of HR
INITIATIVES.

vii
In all my modesty, I admit that a sincere attempt has been made for the
presentation of this report. I also believe that this study will not only prove to be of
an academic interest but also will be able to provide an insight into the area of
working in an organization.
