Phrasal verbs
Phrasal verbs are phrases that consist of a
verb used together with a particle. Phrasal
verbs are very common in Legal English
and play a large role
role, and are often used in
a quasi-technical sense.
Examples:

Phrasal verbs can cause particular

ordinary meanings when used without the
