QUALITY ASSURANCE CERTIFICATE (OPERATING & MAINTENANCE MANUALS)

We confirm having sighted and reviewed Contractors Operating and Maintenance Manual for the above project.
We are satisfied that the Operating and Maintenance Manuals generally satisfy the intent of the Electrical Services
Specification. However the following items need further attention.

As-built Drawings
o

The contractor shall include a copy of the as-built drawings in AutoCad format on CD.

The contractor shall include a set of full size as-built drawings with the O&M manuals.

Lighting
o

Cut sheets of all lighting control components shall be included, including switches and motion
detectors.

Light fitting cut sheets are required for all light fittings and should be clearly labelled with fitting
type.

Data network
o

The contractor shall provide data sheets on all data system components, including cables,
connectors, patch panels and racks.

PA system
o

The contractor shall include a data sheet for the smoke alarms.

Power system
o

Data sheets on all PA system components shall be included, including speakers, amplifiers and
horns.

Fire system
o

Data test results of all cables shall be included. A hard copy summary is required, as well as a
copy of all results in the cable testers native format on CD ROM. Any relevant software required
to interpret said information shall be included.

Data sheets on all general power components are required, including GPOs and isolators.

Miscellaneous
o

The date of practical completion shall be included.

The contractor shall provide a certificate of compliance for the emergency lighting system.

The contractor shall provide a certificate of electrical safety.

The contractor shall provide a data sheet for the fans.

The contractor shall provide data sheets on all components relating to the theatre, including but
not limited to, lighting bars, patch panels and DMX cabling.
