*The viscosity of an oil is its resistance to the uniform and turbulence-free flow of a fluid.
The ISO grade is a measure of the viscosity of an oil in cSt at 40C, as provided by a
drawn sample.

Lubrication is one of the most important factors in whether or not a refrigeration installation works correctly. The choice of lubricant is specific to the installation and applications in
question. It is important to follow the recommendations of the compressor manufacturer. The oil ensures that the different moving parts of the compressor are lubricated by forming
a lubricating, homogenous film. In rotary screw compressors, it also ensures tightness and therefore effective refrigeration.
Choosing the right oil is essential if you want to ensure the performance and longevity of your refrigeration installation.
