IPC-207

Internal Plastic Coating Solution

Extending the Life of Drilling Tubulars
IPC-207 is a modified epoxy internal coating for drilling tubulars designed to withstand a wide range of chemical
environments under high temperature and pressure.
Our internal coating is a successor to DJ-207 that has been field proven to provide excellent and reliable resistance
to abrasion and corrosion to drilling operations in the Middle East and Far East for over six years.
IPC-207 powder chemistry ensures consistent thickness of coverage even for variable bore tubulars, and contains
less volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as compared to liquid based chemistry. Powder coating also ensures an
attainable 100% holiday free application - available as an option - providing a complete barrier against corrosion.
IPC-207 ensures mastery of anchor pattern that allows perfect adhesion properties of the primer and the top coat.
VAM Drilling offers IPC-207, with the industry leading abrasion resistance, as a standard product designed to
provide reliable corrosion barrier for more than 95% of drilling, completions and workover operations.
With IPC-207 now offering a convenient location in Abu Dhabi, VAM Drilling significantly reduces lead time for
customers in the region.

Autoclave Test Results

No swelling, softening, or blistering was observed under test conditions.
The adhesion properties were consistently rated at Excellent with A bonding classification.
