The role holder will support and lead on business improvement activities, that are relevant for
their area of Openreach engineering events
To assure the monitoring, validation and reconciliation of e2e processes of the revenue, cost and
margin cycles for their area of Openreach engineering events
To ensure they are timely, complete and accurate in addition to promoting customer confidence
through robust control improvements
To promote margin improvement and accuracy through robust margin reconciliations between
Order through to Billing systems for Engineer events
To assure the implementation and integration of products, services and systems in order to
reduce and prevent revenue leakage through monitoring models or reduce cost where
applicable
The role holder will support and lead on business improvement activities, that are relevant for
their area of Openreach engineering events
Maintain the revenue coverage model and the Group Risk Register for their areas
Leads and where necessary carries out analysis that supports business improvement
approaches and delivers customer satisfaction, cost reduction and revenue growth
Represent Openreach Revenue Assurance as a Subject Matter Expert in all key project delivering
new products and system changes , providing insight and submitting requirements to support
the delivery of the Revenue Assurance control framework
Carry out analysis that supports business improvement approaches and delivers customer
satisfaction, cost reduction and revenue growth
To work closely with Product, Operational & Finance units, supporting change initiatives that will
reduce revenue leakage, measurably reduce costs and therefore increase margin. Also as a
result, then aim to improve organisational efficiency and productivity

To raise the awareness and profile of Revenue Assurance within the business by highlighting and
mitigating risk around revenue and margin leakages, either directly or by supporting senior
management team
To develop, improve, track and support revenue optimisation and efficiency of all required
business process and rules that governs both internal and external adherence to guidelines
outlined by the BT Group
Delivery of the Event Assurance Strategy, providing external incremental benefit and driving
practical solutions
Develop and improve processes, policy and procedures to drive best practise
Delivering Engineering Events cost and revenue assurance coverage across Openreach
Supporting the Billing Dispute team, through transformational programmes that drive
efficiencies and\or process\system improvements that reduce disputes that they receive
Responsible for the delivery of the personal financial objectives within the agreed department

Support the delivery of the Roadmap objectives for Openreach Revenue Assurance focused on the
validation of cost to revenues, leading on relevant areas
Analysis of E2E reconciliation from order through to Billing and GL and ensuring that all products,
promotions, pricing and discounts including bespoke offerings are set up and billed in a timely, complete
and accurate manner
Pro-actively investigate & lead on new areas of possible leakage (Revenue and Cost) through liaising with
various points of contact across the business and\or through the analysis of various data sources available
to the team
Analyse, report and assist on the correction of revenue impacting errors across all billing systems and the
management of resolution with operational business process owners
Lead and\or support the co-ordination of recovery activities with various parts of the business, as well as
support any recovery teams in place (directly or indirectly)
To provide comprehensive revenue risk analysis to drive internal improvements through prioritisation of
tasks or resolution activity to mitigate risk across business forums
To help develop and then produce weekly and monthly reconciliation packs and KPI dashboards to reflect
the overall performance of service E2E processing
To champion revenue leakage issues across Openreach by influencing and engaging key stakeholders on
activity and resource requirements necessary to drive revenue maximisation
Support the implementation & the full deployment and management of the Revenue Assurance control
tools, by becoming a key user in relevant areas
To provide feedback and analysis to the Managers in regard to event variances and potential impact to the
P&L.
