1.0 INTRODUCTION
Car rental system will be developed to help students Polytechnic Tuanku
Syed Sirajuddin to reserve a rental car with more ease and no longer have
to waste time to get a rental car booked from the company.
In addition, car rental system will display the status of the car which has
not been booked and already booked. The message will also be given to
students who make reservations through phone as confirmation that the

vehicle has been accepted as legitimate by the company after making the
payment. This will be helpful for students to know the status of the car
and the car after confirmation of payment.

2.0 PROBLEM STATEMENT

Poly car rental company is a company which is still using manual systems
which do not meet the criteria for use in the present. It cannot store data
in a prolonged period of time because it uses only storage system that
uses files. This suggests that the need for an action that must be
implemented to improve the existing system . To improve the existing
system, a system of Rental Car System should be developed to obtain a
more systematic system.

3.0 OBJECTIVE
Can save more time shipping car rental to tenant from 15 minute
until 20 minute earlier.
Use database for saving data more safer than use file.
Receive notification in telephone as evidence for booking
confirmation after payment.

4.0 SCOPE
This application system is based on the booking of car rental provided to
polytechnic students. This is to make students more convenient and
easier to book and move around not worrying its cost because price of car
rental inside polytechnic is much reasonable.

A. SYSTEM SCOPE

The advantage of this system is students can book the car by online.
They dont gave to manually call to book or travel in distance to book
the car. Furthermore, it will be booking dont need to be done manually
such as photostating of ic, car license and so on. According to the
payment students can made by cash deposit and for the confirmation
we will notify by messaging.
The software we used to develop this system is by using Microsoft
Word for documentation, Adobe Dreamweaver, PHP, and HTML for
design and develop this system. Beside that, database system is used
to organized tenant record and personal information.
The hardware we used to develop this system such as printer for
printing the documents, laptop for doing proposal project, design interface
system, key in data. Phone as authentication to send messages to
students who have booked a car.

B. USERS SCOPE
Car rental system will be developed to help students polytechnic to
reserve a rental car with more ease and no longer have to waste time
to get a rental car booked from the company.

5.0 PROJECT SIGNIFICANT

At this time, system manual some does not use any more because the technology become
more advance. Then, we should fix the old manual system to online system.
For company, this system can helped student from booking car rental in online
system. This system can also manage and save tenant data more safe because its have a
database in this system.
Student also can book the car rental anytime that they want. Futhermore, the time that
we use to send the car rental to student take only few minute where the student must not be
regret booking the car rental with us.
This system is designed and developed to helped all users to use this system with
more efficient and systematic because technology this time is very advanced.

CONCLUSION

The conclusion that can be given here is the car rental system is a great system by circulation
or advances in information technology and also can make it easier to reserve a rental car
easier and save time.
This system is a system that is technologically and systematically . Further more, the system
is able to manage the storage of information into the database more secure to use. All the
information will be more secure and organized.
