HANDING ON THE FAITH: CATECHESIS.
Quite early on, the name CATECHESIS was given to the totality of the
Church's efforts to make disciples, to help people believe that Jesus is
the Son of God so that believing they might have life in his name, and to
educate and instruct them in this life, thus building up the body of
Christ. (Prologue to the Catechism).

A BLESSING:
May you recognise in your life the presence, power, and light of
your soul. May you realise that you are never alone; that your soul in its brightness
and belonging connects you intimately with the rhythm of the universe. May you
have respect for your own individuality and difference. May you realise that the shape
of your soul is unique, that you have a special destiny here that behind the facade of
your life there is something beautiful, good and eternal happening. May you learn to
see yourself with the same delight, pride and expectation with which God sees you in
every moment.

We extend a warm welcome to everyone worshipping here this

Core values of spiritual reawakening

Our first point of call to true discipleship today was made by Joshua
he says: If you will not serve the Lord, choose today whom you wish
to serve (Joshua 24:15). The clarion call to follow the ways of God
has been consistent with all the prophets, judges, and the apostles in
the scripture as spiritual educators. Sirach 2:1-9 tells us that if you
want to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for an ordeal. The call to
serve the Lord has never been without any difficulties amidst the very
busy lives and the world that we live in. Like Joshua, St. Paul likens
our relationship with God as the faithful union between husband and
wife (Ephesians 5:2, 25). It is in a sense, a call to purity and holiness of
life. Holiness of life is possible and the Lord has offered us the answer
as the message of eternal life.
