BLADE is the new ultra-performance wingsuit from BIRDMAN,

a pioneer in wingsuit design, invention and manufacturing.

BLADE - TECHNICAL INFORMATION

This birdman suit is made of 100% polyamide, 8 mm OPTI zippers, leather and neophere. It is classical
construction incorporating four extra large wings shaped for maximum speed, lift, drag and user-comfort. All wing
excluding the rear deflector are equipped with shaped air-intakes with air-locks allowing maximum flight both on
back and belly. Arms wings are made with standard cut-away system while leg cut-away is optional.

Shaped leading edge deflector is shaped to gain extra speed and lift with foam, a slippery and air-resistant
transparent sail material.

Arm wings reach up higher and also down so that all important surface area is maximized. The wing is
aerodynamically shaped with curves so the forces are sustainable for the long flight and that you can reach the
PC without a hassle. Both sides, front and back, are equipped with formed air-intakes with air-locks.

Leg wing is 15 cm wider than the one on Skyflyer S6. The size and performance gain has been made possible
with the swept shape that reduces the tail drag and is designed to prevent flapping. Both sides, front and back,
are equipped with shaped air-intakes with air-locks.

Back deflector has also been increased in size to follow all the other wings.

When not flying you can hold the leg wing up using strong rare earth magnets in the booties. The thumb loop is
still adjustable for fit but 4 mm narrower than on our previous models.

We have also made high collar to protect your throat. Made from water- and windproof soft neoprene.

ALL BLADES will be custom made to fit and you will be able to choose your favorite colors from a number of
different color patterns as well as to design your own with our new coloring program.

The suit will come with optional l.q.r.s. (leg wing quick release) (always left side), optional BASE pouch (always
right side), hook knife pocket, optional knee protector pads (as featured in the IMPACT range, see picture) and a
"first-aid" kit containing a piece of main material for fixes, extra arm zipper, peace of rip-stop tape, stickers and
flight manual.

This wingsuit is ultrahigh-performance suit for those with more experience. This suit is not for every pilot but if
you can handle S3, S3S or S6 type of suit you may want to conceder the BLADE.

BACKGROUND

BIRDMAN has been designing, testing and building wingsuits since 1999. Our wingsuits have always been hand
made in Skofja Loka, Slovenia, by a master seamster Tone Bevk. Since 1999, when he hand made the first
BIRDMAN suit, he has built more wingsuits than anybody else on the planet.

BLADE is the result of accumulated experience, two years of project work and team spirit. Our R&D team, led by
BIRDMAN CEO Jari Kuosma, has an overall combined experience of designing, making and developing
wingsuits for over 35 years and other garments for over 60 years. Our test team has a combined experience of
over 67 years in skydiving with over 15000 jumps, and nearly 5000 wingsuit flights.

In the testing period, the various models of BLADE was jumped nearly 300 times and tested in the wind tunnel.

From the back, measure from the bottom, center of your neck over your shoulder, to your
