HOUSE RULES

SAFETY RULES
1. Absolutely NO SMOKING in any room or area of the unit.
2. Absolutely no incense or candles. They are fire hazards.
3. Absolutely no drug use or possession of drugs on the premises by the tenants or
incumbent guest. Such use and/or possession is a violation of the law and will be
reported to the police.
4. Absolutely no firearms on the premises.
5. Absolutely no underage drinking and no drunkenness.
6. Absolutely no parties other than dinner parties of 5 or less.
BATHROOM RULES
1. Clean sink and tub after each use (especially clean strainer of hair).
2. Each tenant is responsible for their guests usage of bathrooms.
3. Tenants will be charged for plumbing costs that are related to tenants hair
accumulation, etc.
4. Do not clutter shampoos etc in the bathroom. A space/rack is allocated for these
paraphernalia.
KITCHEN RULES
1. Use pantry for canned goods. Each tenant is assigned with their respective cabinets.
2. Clean all dishes and pots and pans every after use. Do not leave them in the sink or on
the counter.
3. Wipe counters after usage.
4. Empty trash daily. Trash is deposited/left at Level B1 and easily accessible via the
elevator.
5. Turn off light when not in use.
6. Use cutting board to cut and chop on. Do not cut or chop on counters.
CONSERVATION RULES
1. Turn out all interior lights when not in use. Remember to turn bedroom lights and fans
off when leaving for the day.
2. Unplug all devices before leaving for the day to avoid risk of short circuit or fire.
SECURITY RULES
1. Keep the main door locked at all times.
2. Do not let strangers in the house.
3. Call security immediately when anything of suspicious nature occurs.
4. Close all windows before leaving for the day.
GENERAL RULES
1. No pets allowed.
2. No holes in the walls to hang pictures etc.
3. Show consideration to other tenants in regards to music or other noise. No loud music
or noises after 9:00 PM. Tenants who violate the peace and quiet of other tenants will
be in violation of their lease agreement and will be asked to leave.
4. When playing stereo, use headphones if others complain.
5. Tenants may not store personal items except in their rooms. Personal kitchen items
may be stored in their respective cupboards in the kitchen.
6. NO GUESTS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT via TEXT or VERBAL.
7. No subletting at all times.
8. Tenants shall maintain the premises in a clean sanitary condition at all times. Do not
leave any clutter in the common areas.
9. CLEAN AS YOU GO
10.Upon termination of tenant occupancy, tenant shall surrender the premises to the unit
owner in the same or better condition as when first arrived.
11.A cleaning fee may be deducted from the security deposit to clean the room.

12.Tenant security deposit may not be used in lieu of last months rent.
13.Tenants will be considered as moved out only when all keys are handed to the unit
owner. If keys are not delivered/surrendered, tenant will have costs for said keys and
any extra days rent will be deducted from the security deposit.
14.Leases/Rental agreement must be renewed at least one month before expiry date.
VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE CAUSE FOR EVICTION.
Be considerate of other tenants rights. Smile and always say Hello. Maintain camaraderie.

I have read these rules and I understand they are an addendum to the rental agreement. I
have received a copy and I agree to abide by them.
