You make the issues much too simple.

In the fairy-tale, Rumpelstiltskin thought he had assured foreknowledge of the

outcome of his plot. He overlooked something crucial, of his own making, which led to Rumpelstiltskin's destroying
himself, by tearing himself apart.
In the case of the situation which is most nearly comparable to the situation of the present world crisis today, the 1923
collapse of the Weimar Republic's Deutschemark, most Germans, including many high-ranking ones, deluded themselves.
Presently, throughout western and central Europe, in the U.S.A., and many other places, leading and other circles of
people believe not as clever fellows, but as fools who are largely duped by no one as much as their own silly beliefs. Their
almost suicidal stupidity is that they believe in their own opinions about how the system works.
The simplest illustration is the case of the widespread belief in what is called "environmentalism," the so-called "Green"
movement of former U.S.A. Vice-President Al Gore, and other silly fools of the "Sixty-Eighter" generation.
The current threat is the nearby imminence of a general breakdown of the physical-economic system of the planet, to the
effect of reducing the level of world population to much less than one billions living individuals within a space of about a
generation or two, and with a gradual reemergence of civilization beginning several generations ahead. Gold is overrated
under such conditions; physical production of agricultural and manufactured products, per capita and per square kilometer,
is decisive.
As to the conspiratorial aspect of the present world situation, I can summarize that as follows. First, I shall now
summarize the relevant background in modern European civilization, and then locate the relevant principal struggle for
power within it.
The Roots of the Present Crisis
Modern civilization began with the famous great ecumenical Council of Florence, in which the role of Cardinal Nicholas
of Cusa was crucial: a.) In defining the principle of the modern sovereign nation-state, instead of empire, Concordancia
Catholica, and the principle of modern scientific economy, De Docta Ignorantia. The struggle of the Venetian financieroligarchical system to regain the type of imperial control it had exerted during the 1000-1400 AD interval led into the
primary, presently continuing conflict within post-1648 European civilizatin world-wide. The latter conflict is the only
place in which an efficient sort of conspiratorial element can be rightly located within the current situation.
The A.D. 1453 Fall of Constantinople, as engineered by the treachery of the Venetian-Genoese financier- oligarchy was the
leading edge of the attempt by that financier-oligarchical syndicate of power to regain the degree of imperial control over
society it had enjoyed under the medieval feudal system of Crusades. The religious warfare of the 1492-1648 interval was
the result. The failure of the old-style Venetian faction to defeat the cause of modern European culture created the
opportunity in which the Venice faction of Paolo Sarpi rose to power among the Venetians. The 1648 Peace of Westphalia
was a defeat to the Venice faction as a whole, but Sarpi's faction was able to gain power by taking over control of the
Anglo- Dutch Liberal system's influence, through aid of the follies of France's Louis XIV. The February 1763 Peace of
Paris, which established the British East India Company itself as an imperial power, has produced a global situation in
which the conflict between two great English-speaking factions have been the leading, contending adversaries in the effort
to shape global history.
This struggle among those led by the English- speaking factions has been a division between both the USA and the British
Empire, but also a struggle between leading factions within the U.S.A. itself. The war-time conflict between the nominal
allies, FDR's USA and Churchill's British Empire faction, is still typical of the leading conflict of leading powers
throughout the planet still today, Here is where the only significant element of witting conspiracy among leading forces is
to be found today. On this account, most of the leading political, and also financier circles in the U.S.A. or western and
central Europe, are merely as foolish children in their expressed beliefs today. Knowledgeable conspiracy is not in their
nature; they are to be condemned as fools, not as master- minds. It is the "sincerity" of their beliefs, to the extent they have
any sincerity at all, which steers them into a self- inflicted doom.
It is difficult to mourn the fate of those who are already virtually brain-dead on these accounts.
Do not place confidence in gold, but, rather in what gold might be made worth, as a monetary standard, because of the
quality of goods, and their abundance, which is made available for sustaining and building up the economies of and among
nations.
