A Resolution to CREATE a committee for the search for OUTSTANDING

PUBLIC SERVANT

Resolution No. 30 Series of 2014

WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana, a group of concerned
media cebuano radio commentators, an organization duly established in accordance
with the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with a registration
No. CN093-000311 and is recognized by law as an artificial person given certain
legal rights and duties as a human being.
WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana is exercising basic
human rights guaranteed under the constitution of the Republic of the Philippines,
the Constitutional right to expression or the Freedom of Expression and is providing
the public with basic information on matters of public concern as wherefore
provided in Article III, Section 7 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution which reads,
thus; The right of the people to information on matters of public concern shall be
recognized. Access to official records, and to documents and papers pertaining to
official acts, transactions, or decisions, as well as to government research data used
as basis for policy development, shall be afforded the citizen, subject to such
limitations as may be provided by law.
WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana throughout the years
since it was established never fails to commend and recognized Public Servants who
have done a great contribution in carrying out its mission and vision, provide public
services, denouncing human rights violations, expose corrupt public officials and
fight alongside with the people to put an end to graft and corruption.
WHEREAS, The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana would like to give a
commendations to our leaders with an outstanding performance in the field of
public service.
WHEREAS, to put this into reality, the Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana
as a valid and duly registered organization by the Securities and Exchange
Commission hereby creates a committee to screen nominees for the awarding of
the outstanding public servants.
WHEREAS, the rules for the nomination and the screening process shall be set by
the committee and shall be disseminated to all members of SUKNA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on mass motion by Mr. Ryan Secretaria,
Member of the Board of Directorsand duly seconded by Edison Rey Batiquin also a
member of the Board and a Past President of SUKNA in a board meeting held at
DYRB Radio Corporation of the Philippines, Cebu on April 5, 2014 with no objection,
The Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana (SUKNA Inc.) hereby creates a
committee for the selection of the Outstanding Public Servants to be awarded on
the culminating activity of the Press Freedom Month Celebration on September.
RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish a copy of this resolution to all members of SUKNA.
