training course
12-19 September 2015
Kisjbnya, Hungary
PARTICIPANT'S INFOPACK
1. THE VENUE
The training course will take place in a very small village, called Kisjbnya. It is hidden in the
forests and hills of Mecsek in the South of Hungary and has about 13 inhabitants.
There is no cell phone signal in the whole village and internet will not be available either. If you
urgently have to make a call you can use the land-line phone or you can climb one of the hills. If
someone really wants to reach you, here is the number of the land-line phone: +3672490405.
Accommodation will be in a lovely retro guest house, slightly resembling the old times of EasternEuropean pioneer camps and socialist family holidays. It definitely has an atmosphere. ;) You will
be accommodated in rooms of 3 to 8. There will be bedding available but you can also use your
own sleeping bag.
There is also space for two tents. If it is important for you to sleep outside or have your privacy and
want to choose this option please get back until 20th August. We will offer the space for those who
write first. Please note that you will have to bring your own tent.
You can find a map and photos of the house here: http://varazsvolgy.uw.hu/leir.html
2. TRAVELLING
Please make sure to consider both environmental and economical factors when choosing the means
of transport. We encourage you to take the train or bus if it's a feasible option for you. The public
transport in Hungary is Budapest centered so it's very likely that first you will have to get to
Budapest and you will only be able to get closer to the venue from there wherever you come from.
We have only one airport, it's in Budapest.
The training course starts at 4 p.m. on 12th September. It's already an essential part
of the course and not just a laidback getting to know each other that you can skip. So please
make sure that you arrive to the venue until 2 p.m. the latest to be able to settle down and
get focused. This means that you will have to leave Budapest at 9:45 a.m. the latest. If you come by
air you will have to land until 7:30 a.m.! You can already arrive on the afternoon or evening of the
11th. The course finishes with breakfast on 19th September. Travel days can be the 11th, 12th and 19th
September. If you want to / have to travel on days different from these you will have to justify it.
Travel reimbursements
The training course is funded by the Erasmus+ and your travel costs will be reimbursed up to the
following amount per person:
United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Liechtenstein: 275 euros
Romania, Hungary: 180 euros
You will only be reimbursed if you choose a reasonable way of travelling (no 1st class for
example). To receive the reimbursement please read and follow the following section:
The reimbursement will happen after the course after we have received all travelling documents and
invoices. We will collect all documents and invoices that you already have at the training course.
Please take a good care of them!
3. PROGRAMME
During the first part of the course you will experience the Natural Change process yourself and in
the second part, days will be spent exploring the practices, techniques and theories of facilitating
this process.
The heart of the course will be the solo time, a day spent in silence in nature. During the first few
days there will be a chance to get ready for this, slow down, get to know each other and the place
and to clarify intentions. After the solo, participants will tell their stories and learn the mirroring
technique. The rest of the course will be about learning facilitation.
4. FOOD
Food will be vegetarian during the whole course and we will pay attention to your dietary needs. If
you have to follow a special diet or you have any food related allergies or intolerance that you didn't
indicate on the application form please let us know as soon as possible.
5. COSTS
The training course is funded by Erasmus+ and the costs (programme, accommodation and food)
will be covered. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the amount described above.
As mentioned on the call for participants we will ask you to contribute a sum between 50 and 100
euros to support the organization of the project according to what you can afford. You will be
required to pay this fee when you arrive.
