Natural Change Outdoor Education

training course
12-19 September 2015
Kisjbnya, Hungary

1. THE VENUE
The training course will take place in a very small village, called Kisjbnya. It is hidden in the
forests and hills of Mecsek in the South of Hungary and has about 13 inhabitants.
There is no cell phone signal in the whole village and internet will not be available either. If you
urgently have to make a call you can use the land-line phone or you can climb one of the hills. If
someone really wants to reach you, here is the number of the land-line phone: +3672490405.
Accommodation will be in a lovely retro guest house, slightly resembling the old times of EasternEuropean pioneer camps and socialist family holidays. It definitely has an atmosphere. ;) You will
be accommodated in rooms of 3 to 8. There will be bedding available but you can also use your
own sleeping bag.
There is also space for two tents. If it is important for you to sleep outside or have your privacy and
want to choose this option please get back until 20th August. We will offer the space for those who
write first. Please note that you will have to bring your own tent.
You can find a map and photos of the house here: http://varazsvolgy.uw.hu/leir.html

2. TRAVELLING
Please make sure to consider both environmental and economical factors when choosing the means
of transport. We encourage you to take the train or bus if it's a feasible option for you. The public
transport in Hungary is Budapest centered so it's very likely that first you will have to get to
Budapest and you will only be able to get closer to the venue from there wherever you come from.
We have only one airport, it's in Budapest.

The training course starts at 4 p.m. on 12th September. It's already an essential part
of the course and not just a laidback getting to know each other that you can skip. So please
make sure that you arrive to the venue until 2 p.m. the latest to be able to settle down and
get focused. This means that you will have to leave Budapest at 9:45 a.m. the latest. If you come by
air you will have to land until 7:30 a.m.! You can already arrive on the afternoon or evening of the
11th. The course finishes with breakfast on 19th September. Travel days can be the 11th, 12th and 19th
September. If you want to / have to travel on days different from these you will have to justify it.

Getting to the venue

If you come by air please allow yourself about 2 hours to get to the bus station or railway stations in
Budapest. You can take bus no. 200E to Kbnya-Kispest metro station (end station of M3, blue
metro line). For the bus station take the metro and get off at Npliget. For the railway stations take
the metro, change to M2 (red metro line) at Dek tr to reach Keleti plyaudvar or Dli plyaudvar
(the name of the railway stations).

There are two options to get to the venue from Budapest.
1. You get to bnya and take a beautiful one-hour-long excursion through the forest. This is our
preference (it's worth it, you'll see!)
There is a bus that leaves Budapest, Npliget bus station at 7:20 for Pcs. Get off at Mecsekndasd
bus station at 10:57 (please make sure that you won't stay on the bus until the end stop) where you
have to take another bus that leaves at 11:01 for bnya. It arrives at 11:09. We'll be waiting for
your there.
2. You travel to Magyaregregy, Zobkpuszta or Koml by train and/or bus where we will pick
you up by car. There are no direct services to these places and there are a variety of ways to get
there depending on the means of transport you prefer, when you can leave Budapest and whether
you are a confident traveller.
There are trains to Pcs from Budapest Keleti or Dli railway stations more or less once an hour. In
Pcs you'll have to find the bus station to travel further. It's in walking distance, please calculate
with a half an hour to get there.
You can travel by bus all the way from Budapest but you'll definitely have to change somewhere
during the way.
Here you can check the time-table of the trains: http://www.mavcsoport.hu/en
And the buses: http://ujmenetrend.cdata.hu/
Your last options:
1. Take the train (called DRVA IC) at Budapest Keleti railway station at 9:45, it arrives at Pcs
railway station at 12:41. Take the bus at Pcs bus station at 13:20 (the bus' destination is Koml)
and get off at Zobkpuszta at 13:54. We'll offer you a ride from there.
2. Take the bus at Budapest Npliget bus station at 9:20 (bus' destination is Pcs), get off at Pcs,
budai vm (two stops before the end station) at 13:22, go to the opposite side and find the stop that
goes the opposite direction. Take the bus at 13:28 (arriving from end station of Pcs, destination is
Koml). Get off at Zobkpuszta, autbusz-vrterem at 13:54. We'll offer you a ride from there.
Your very-very last option. With this you would arrive just before the course starts. We don't want
that! However, if this is your only chance here it goes:
Take the bus at Budapest Npliget bus station at 11:05 (bus' destination is Sikls), get off in
Bonyhd at 13:38. Take the bus at 13:53 (arriving from Szekszrd, destination is Pcs). Get off at
Magyaregregy, bolt at 14:35. We'll be waiting for you there.

smartly and fill the places with other participants! We will email you what documents you'll need
to bring for travel reimbursement.
Your way back: the earliest time you can get to Budapest bus station from the venue is 9:40 a.m.
but you will need to leave at 5 a.m. for this! If you can manage please book a flight, buy a ticket for

WITHOUT THE INVOICES AND TICKETS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO

REIMBURSE YOUR TRAVEL COSTS!
What is an invoice?
An invoice is a document that proves the purchase of something and it is issued by a seller to a
buyer. In Hungary it is a very important document, the only thing that will be accepted for
accountancy by the Hungarian tax law. Without it we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs.
In some European countries it will be a challenge to obtain an invoice but please don't give up! If
booking your tickets online please make sure that you tick the box indicating that you want an
invoice. If it's not an option please contact the travel company beforehand, explain the situation and
ask how you can get an invoice. Eticket is NOT an invoice. It can serve as an invoice very rarely
though, however, in this case it must be clearly indicated on the ticket.
If an airline doesn't issue an invoice they must send a statement of this to confirm.
The components of an invoice are:
* name of service provider
* address of service provider
* tax registration number of service provider (this is the number the service provider is registered
with the tax authority)
* invoice date (date of issue)
* invoice number
* customer's name (Pandora Egyeslet)
* customer's address (1165 Budapest, Sasvr u. 99/c., Hungary)
* tax registration number of customer (HU 18290385)
* description (name) of service
* completion date (date of travelling)
* net price of the service
* rate of VAT if it's subject to VAT
* amount of VAT
An example of an invoice: http://invoicetemplategallery.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/basicservice-invoice-template-openoffice.pdf
If you have any questions or encounter any difficulties please write to us!
In Hungary everyone knows what an invoice is, so the only difficulty you may face is people being
unfriendly for having to issue an invoice for a very low amount (e.g. one metro ticket or a short bus
trip).

3. PROGRAMME
During the first part of the course you will experience the Natural Change process yourself and in
the second part, days will be spent exploring the practices, techniques and theories of facilitating
this process.
The heart of the course will be the solo time, a day spent in silence in nature. During the first few
days there will be a chance to get ready for this, slow down, get to know each other and the place
and to clarify intentions. After the solo, participants will tell their stories and learn the mirroring
technique. The rest of the course will be about learning facilitation.

4. FOOD
Food will be vegetarian during the whole course and we will pay attention to your dietary needs. If
you have to follow a special diet or you have any food related allergies or intolerance that you didn't
