Dear, father my heart is filled
with anticipation for the week
ahead. I want to feel the gentle
touch of Jesus. I want to
understand his concern for me. I
want to know that he will catch
me if I stumble. I want him to
soothe my aching heart, I am
ready, Father. Let me
experience the care of Jesus.
Amen
You began your life in Christ by
the Spirit. Now you are trying to
make it complete by your own
power? That is a foolish.
Galatians 3:3
“I will forgive them for the
wicked thing they did, and I will

“The LORD did not choose you
to lavish his love on you
because you were larger or
greater than other nations, for
you were the smallest of all
nations! It was simply because
the LORD loves you”

Sometimes we doubt Jesus care
for us because we confuse our
desires with our needs. When
our desires go unmet, despite
having all we really need, we
are disappointed. Disappointed
with what we perceive as lapse
in care. “If God really cared for
me he would...”
We know what God wants us to
do. “This is what God
commands... that we love each
other.” (1 John 3:23)
The key to forgiving others is to
quit focusing on what they did
to you and start focusing on
“This is love: not that we loved
God, but that He loved us” - 1
John 4:10
The love of people often
increases with the performance
and decreases with mistakes.
Not so much with God’s love. He
loves you right where you are.
Did it bother Him that nobody
seemed to care about His
feeling, His problems, and His
seeds? No. Those things never
entered in His mind. Though
confronted with the sea of
faces, Jesus saw every individual
heart, every precious life, every
eternal soul through the eyes of
love.
He will cover you with his
feathers, and under his wings
you can hide. His truth will be
your shield and protection.
Psalm 91:4
“If you don’t know what to do,
it’s best just to sit till he does
his thing” Moses said.
God’s love does not hinge on
yours. The abundance of your
love does no increase His. The
lack of your love does not
diminish His. Your goodness
does not enhance His love, nor
does your weakness dilute it.
Water must be wet. A fire must
be hot. You can’t take the wet
out of water and still have
water. You can’t take the heat
out of fire and still have fire. In
the same way, you can’t take
the love out of (God)....and still
have him exist. For he
was....and ...is Love.
Be kind and loving to each
other, and forgiving each other
just as God forgave you in
Christ”. (Eph. 4:32)
He fights for us. He steps into
the ring and points us to our
corner and takes over.”You
God said, “ I will never leave
you; I will never forget you”

The love of God is born from
within Him, not from what
he finds in us. His love is
uncaused and spontaneous.
When we don’t feel the need
for forgiveness, our worship
becomes cold (why thank
God for the grace we don’t
need?) and or faith is weak
(I’ll handle my mistakes
myself, thank you). We are
better keeping God out than
we at inviting God in.
If you have experienced
Jesus, you know one thing is
true: you just can’t turn
away from Him.
He saves my life from the
grave and loads me with
love and mercy.
Psalm 103:4.
He loves you when you don’t
feel lovely. He loves you
when no one else loves you.
Others may abandon you,
divorce you, and ignore you,
but God will love you.
Always. No matter what.
There is a Father who is
ready to comfort me. There
is a Father who will hold me
until I’m better, help me
until I can live with the hurt,
and who won’t go to sleep
when I’m afraid of waking up
and seeing the dark. Ever.
Give thanks to the Lord
because he is good. His love
continues forever. Psalm
136:1
“I’ll call nobodies and make
them make some bodies; I’ll
call the unloved and make
what God did to you.
Jesus’ love is love in action.
“When you talk, do not say
harmful things, but say what
you need--- words that will help
others become stronger. Then
what you say will be good to
those who listen to you.” (Eph.
4:29)
God is for you. Not “may be, not
“has been”, not “was”, not
“would be”, but “God is!” He is
for you. His loyalty won’t
increase if you are better nor
lessen if you are worse. He is for
you.
You’re the one God is seeing.
God is waiting Father, the caring
Shepherd in search of his lamb.
His listening for your answers.
Apart from God, “the heart is
deceitful above all things” Jer.
17:9 NIV).
A gift is valuable because the
giver has invested time, money,
or thought into it. Realizing its
prize increases our appreciation
of the gift. Jesus’ gift, the gift of
the crown of thorns, cost him
everything.
Do all things; but most
important, love each other. Love
is what holds you all together in
perfect unity. (Col. 3:14)
God loves you. Personally.
Passionately. Powerfully.
Others have promised and
failed.
But God has promised and
succeeded. He loves you with an
unfailing love. And his love—if
you will let it—can fill you and
leave you with a love worth
giving
need only to remain calm; the
LORD will fight for you.” (Ex.
14:14)
“Even though you are bad, you
know how to give good gifts to
your children. How much more
your heavenly Father will give
good things to those who ask
him!” Matthew 7:11
The best is yet to be. And so I
urge you, don’t give up. And so I
plead, finish the journey. And so
I exhort, be there.
Be there when God whispers

If you’re not sure what to do,
allow God to take the lead.
But when the battle is bigger
than you and you want God
to take over, it’s all you can
do.
Do not worry about
anything, but pray and ask
God anything you need,
always giving thanks.
Philippians 4:6
God did not save so you
could WORRY.
The Lord will always lead
you. He will satisfy your
needs in dry lands and give
strengths to your bones. You
will be like a garden spring
that never runs dry.

If GOD IS FOR US, who can
be against us?
GOD IS FOR US.
“Can anything make me
stop loving you?” God asks.
“Watch me speak your
earth, sleep on your earth,
and fell your hurts. You
wonder if I understand how
you feel. You wonder how
long my love will last. Find
your answer on a splintered
cross, on a craggy hill.
That’s me, you see me
there, your maker, your God,
nail-stabbed and bleeding.
Covered in spit and sin-
soaked. “That’s your sin I’m
feeling. That’s your death
I’m dying. That’s your

Knowing you didn’t do anything
to earn God’s love reminds me
not to live in fear of losing it
either. If you did nothing to gain
it, how could your performance
lose it?
And you will never be
completely happy on earth
simply because you were not
made for earth. You will know
moments or even days of peace.
But they simply do not compare
with the happiness that lies
ahead.
God loves you just the way you
are, but He refuses to leave you
that way. He wants you to be
just like Jesus.
Other Christians can give us
good advice, but only God can
help us,
“It is finished”. Stop and listen a
moment. Let the words wind
through your heart. Imagine the
cry from the cross.
”He is my defender; I will not be
defeated” (Ps 62:6)
I trust in your love. My heart is
happy because you saved me.
Psalm 13:5
The Lord is my shepherd; I have
everything I need. Psalm 23:1
God’s seed grows better if the
soil of the heart is cleared.
”Don’t let your hearts be
troubled. Trust in God, and trust
in me.” John 14:1
God loves you just the way you
are, but He refuses to leave you
that way. He wants you to be
just like Jesus.
Christ had no sin, but God made
him become sin so that in Christ
we could become right with
God.

Get along with each other and
forgive each other. If someone

trust. Just trust. Not direct. Or

wheel out of his hands. Our job
is to pray and wait. Nothing

Depend on the Lord; trust him,
and he will take care of you.

will take care of us.

experience the forgiveness of
Jesus this week, show me how
to extend that some forgiveness
to those around me. Amen

Jesus wore our sin and shame to
the cross. He was not guilty. He
had not committed a sin. And
no, he did not deserve to be
sentenced,
Jesus willingly lifted our shame
from our shoulders so he could
carry the burden on his way to
Over. Finished, so why we still
insist on walking around our
Father’s world as if we are
underdressed?
If you think you can judge
others, you are wrong. When
you judge them, you are really
judging yourself guilty, because
you do the same thing. God
judges those who do wrong
things, and we know that his
judging is right. You judge those
who do wrong, but you wrong
yourselves.
God allows us to make our own
choices.
Because God gives us choices,
we must realize that all choices
have consequences, both good
and bad.
Salvation is God-given, God-
driven, God-empowered, and
God-originated.
But want to know the coolest
thing about the One who gave
up the crown of heaven for a
crown of thorns? He did it for
you. Just for you.
past, they are redeemed by
one good choice- to follow
Jesus.
And God can give you more
blessings than you need.

enough to give to every

showed me kindness, and in
your care you watched over

Jesus loves you enough to
let you choose.
There is more to your life
than you ever thought.
There is more to your story
than what you have read.
There is more to your songs
than what you have sung. A
good author saves the best
for last. A great composer
keeps his finest for the
finish. And God, the author
of life and composer of
hope, has done the same for
you.
Only you can surrender your
concerns to the father. No
one else can take those
away and give them to God.
Only you can cast all your
anxieties on the one who
cares for you. What better
way to start the day than by
laying your cares at his feet?
“If people want to follow me,
they must give up the things
they want. They must be
willing even to give up their
lives to follow me” (Matt.
16:24)
What will You leave at the
Cross?
Don’t let you hearts be
troubled. I will come back
and take you to be with me
so that you may be where I
am” (John 14: 1,3)
Why? Why didn’t Jesus resist?
“Because he loved us.”
There are times when God
sends thunder to stir us. There
are times when God sends
blessings to, lure us. But then
there are times when God sends
nothing but silence as he honors
us with the freedom to choose
where we spend eternity.
Dear Father, forgive me for
trying to impress you with
garments of my own making.
You have shown me grace, and
clothed me with Christ instead. I
know that it is only through your
grace that I have been saved.
Guide my studies this week.
Teach me more about You.
Show me how amazing grace
really is. And help me
experience the grace of Jesus.
Amen.
God’s highest dream is not to
make us rich, not to make, us
successful or popular or famous.
God’s dream is to make us right
with him.
God is jealous; and the Lord
avenges. The Lord will take
vengeance on His adversaries,
for His enemies; The Lord is
slow to anger and great in
power, And will not at all acquit
the wicked. Nahum 1:2-3
We still stumble. We still do
exactly what we don’t what to
do. But when it comes to our
position before God, we’re
perfect. When he sees each of
us, he sees one who has been
made perfect through the one
who is perfect- Jesus Christ.
“I have found a way to deal with
your mistakes. In our records
we have found a person with a
spotless past. He has
volunteered to trade records
with you. We will take your
name and put it on His record.
We will punish Him for what you
did. You, who did wrong, will be
made right. He, who did right
will be made wrong
But experiencing God’s grace
becomes all the more precious
to us when we realize what we
have been rescued from.
He gave his creation the
dignity of choice- choosing
whether or not we will
accept his offer of
forgiveness, repent of our
sin, and turn to him.
The cross was heavy, the
blood was real, and the price
is extravagant. It would have
bankrupted you or me, so he
paid it for us. Call it simple.
Call it a gift. But don’t call it
easy. Call it what it is. Call it
grace.
Every gift reveals God’s
love, but no gift reveals his
love more than the gifts of
the Cross. They came, not
wrapped in paper, but in
passion. Not placed around a
tree, but a cross. And not
covered with ribbon, but
sprinkled with blood. The
gifts of the Cross.
God won’t even listen to our
prayers if we are harbouring
a grudge against someone”
