Assalamualaikum wr.wb.
Ladies and Gentlemen. Before starting this discussion, let us say together we worship
and gratitude to God Almighty, who has bestowed grace and gift to us so that we are given a
chance to live in this world, we still give pleasure to so great a God given to us so that we can
still feel the pleasure of flesh and spirit, Subhanallah... blessings God gives us clear there is
no accounting for ...
Solawat and greet our master, the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW Habibanna,
because he was the savior of the people, because he was the role model in life. And may we
be ever faithful to his people in his teachings. Amiiin ....
Ladies and Gentlemen. On this happy occasion I will deliver a speech entitled
"Demanding Science and virtues".Science has an important role in the course of this life,
because the science has, one would be able to distinguish what is right and what is falsehood.
Someone with knowledge will be more stable again in the worship of Allah SWT. Knowing
the real essence and purpose. But conversely, if someone is blind to the science of religion,
then everything is done in vain because they do not know the basis and purpose. In order for
this sort of thing is not up to Muslims themselves, then we need to know that Muslims have
the duty to study.In this context, the prophet of Allah, said: "Demanding science compulsory
for Muslims men and women".
Ladies and Gentlemen. We need to know and remember, that the most dominant in
search of knowledge is when childhood. Because at that time, his memory is still very strong,
so that the knowledge gained will continue to be remembered until the end. Their studies in
childhood was like a carved in stone, as we have seen that the carving on the rock is hard, but
after a look etched, for years, decades carvings still visible and will not be erased. Instead of
time studying in the adult, like a carving on the water. We know how very easy it is carved on
the water but it will be deleted, adult learning at the time it is easy to memorize and easy to
forget.
Once we look for the science seriously, then do not forget to practice our science to the
uninitiated, the thing to remember is not one word to describe "the practice of science", for
example when we repeated the students are, then we ask a friend for not knowing the answer,
then we give an answer. Well, this is the mean one word to describe "the practice of science",
I think you also have to understand what I mean. Do not be mistaken for the practice of
science. If we are not in the resume practicing science to the uninitiated, the threat of Allah
that will be accepted. That we do not include people who are in threatens to God, then we
must practice our science.
