BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK We have been getting several enquiries regarding donations for the Blessings in a Backpack program. We fill bags for 38 weeks during the school year for children who do not have food for the weekend. We fill the bags with two breakfasts, two lunches and 2 snacks and are planning to fill 110 bags each
week. Over 65% of the children at bloom school are on the FREE and REDUCED MEAL program, so, we have the possibility of many more children if their parents sign them up. All donations go directly to our Blessings in a Backpack
Bankbox in Louisville, KY. Every penny is spent on the children's meals. You may donate by writing a check to Saguaro Christian Church and noting Bloom School in the memo line. Blessings to all of you for your support.

QUILTERS Rotary cutters, fabric and sewing machines have been put away for a couple of months by the Saguaro
Quilters. We were able to donate 25 quilts to Aviva, Tucson Metropolitan Ministries Women and Children Program,
Tucson Medical Center Children's Center, and babies of our congregation. We will being again Monday, Sept. 21, at
10:30 a.m. in Room 1. Won't you join us to make beautiful quilts for children in need?
BRADY CHURCH LIFE is soliciting requests for this years third quarter funding. Areas to be considered are includingbut not limited to evangelism, education, long-range planning, leadership development, special events, ministerial contingency, new programs plus other ideas consistent with church life that may involve the larger outside
