1. Preparation
1.1 Be sure to wear a company uniform, wearing Huawei Pass ID, a letter of
assignment from Huawei, and certification of each personnel.
1.2 Make sure Permit for entry to the site is ok.
1.3 Make sure Lock site and site address is ok.
1.4 Be sure to bring technical documents such as Engineering Design, BOQ, Delivery
Note, and installation guide.
1.5 Be sure to bring and use safety equipment and bring P3K supplies.
1.6 Be sure to bring equipment and measuring installations are complete.

Antenna could be mounted on diameter of 60~ 110mm vertical mounting pipe

4. Indoor Installation
4.1 Installing the Chassis in the 19-Inch Cabinet

i. Place the first IDU in the top position, if there is a second IDU place
beneath distance between IDU 1U.
ii. Install IDU grounding cable and connect to ground point on the cabinet.
iii. Install IDU power cable and connect to the power supply. Number of IDU
power cable base on BOQ.
iv. Install IF cable base on IDU cable layout.
v. Install ethernet service LAN cable for 2G/3G traffic:
a. GE port on the Power Injector (PI) of RTN310.
b. GE4 port on CSHO of RTN950A.
c. FE4 port on EM6Fof RTN980.

4.3.4 Ground kit for IF cable and ODU installed based on requirement
4.3.5 Waterproof and anticorrosive measures must be adopted for outdoor equip

Fit clamp 2
a. Fold back the braided shield to cover clamp 1.
b. Tidy the braided shield and use clamp 2 to bind the braided shield.
c. Cut the redundant part of the shielding layer.
iv.
Use the electric knife to strip back the dialectric insulating layer in front of
clamp 2. During the operation, the exposed cable wire should be 6 mm
long.

Connect the connector and the lock nut. Use a wrench to tighten the
connection. Use a wrench to rotate the lock nut and another wrench to
position the body of the connector. The recommended torque is 152 N.m.
