The ACB has controlled the development of the game of cricket since 1905,on
behalf of the Australian nation. The responsibility includes all the technical and
administrative aspects of the game.

2. To build interests inside children during the training sessions so that they could
not get distracted by any other games.
7. To give a sound infrastructure where the players get the opportunity to perform.
9. To formulate policy.
14. to generate income through international cricket and assist the states by the
distribution of that money.
Marsh also points out that in the modern game test players still operates at the
local club level. Even though the game is now professional, with million dollars
income earned by the top test players, it is still feasible for the Australian
captain to find himself at the community roots of the game.
When sir Donald bradman came home from an overseas test series there was
not an ODI to play in so he had be playing club cricket and so the young players
got the chance to play with him and understand the basic concepts from him.
.when an Australian player comes back into his grade side and trains with his
grade club, there are thirty or forty other young players who watch what this
guy does and wants to be like him. He is a role model who shows them what the
standard is like.
Club cricket is a reflection of life because ultimately the players comes from the
states.

• Players are given “players handbook” which contains fitness regimes,
dietary habits, training schedules etc.
• Ono-to-one meetings are held to resolve today’s contemporary sporting
challenges.
Conclusion:-
ACB has a clear idea of what it wants to achieve and how it will do it. Sharing the
dream of cricket and providing opportunities for everyone to play the game easily
translates into a passion for winning at the international level. Moreover the brand
recognizes the work which it has to do to produce such great players who can
sustain peak performance. The work of organization has become so renowned that
players from overseas have applied and been accepted through the overseas
program. Although this act appears to be potentially self defeating as the ACB is
assisting the competition to improve themselves, Rod marsh said that from
Australia is one of the leading cricket nations, it’s their duty to help the game of
cricket develop in emerging countries. whatever be the reason but from
commercial point of view it’s been worthwhile and also the players get a fair
chance to prove themselves because they are so dedicated for the fair selection of
players that any chance of involvement of illegal means in the selection of players
is very less. ACB provides players with challenges which spur them to better
themselves to take the Australian cricket and the board at a greater height.
