Sawyer water filters

It is the lightest and most versatile filtration system on the market. With a total weight of 85
grams and the ability to roll up, it takes up virtually no space in your pack or luggage.

The standard kit includes

How to Use
Simply fill up the pouch of your choice at a lake, stream or river, screw the filter directly onto
the pouch and:
1. Squeeze the bag and filter water into your water bottle or container of choice
2. Drink directly from the filter which has a built in push pull cap for on/off functions
3. Attach the filter onto most threaded water bottles including 2 liter bottles

The Science

Mechanical Filtration through hollow-fiber membrane technology

High number of tiny "U" shaped micro-tubes allows the filter to have high flow rates.

Each filter is certified for ABSOLUTE microns; that means there is no pore size larger
than 0.1 or 0.02 micron in size: this makes it impossible for harmful bacteria, protozoa,
or cysts like E. coli, Giradia, Vibrio cholerae and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera
and Typhoid) to pass through the Sawyer PointONE biological filter. At 7 log
(99.99999%) the filter attains the highest level of filtration available today.

You will find these removal rates to equal or exceed competitive options. EPA guidelines
allow ten times more Protozoa left in the water than we allow

NRO Fusion System

The NRO Fusion system is combining standard (passive and active) filter techniques with
high pressure Nano membrane filters which are easy to replace and are patented. The Nano
fibers have a relatively large surface area which allows for a higher absorption rate of various
constituents for improving water quality, a higher acid/basic and temperature resistance,
environmental friendliness, and longer membrane life span and flexibility which enables the
membrane to be formed into various membrane modules for larger commercial application.
Moreover, the system can be provided with PV solar power energy panels, making it a
complete sustainable solution for domestic, (light) commercial and agricultural use.

3. Military and disaster relief use

Aspen 2000DM

The Aspen 2000DM is the most compact, versatile, full featured, computer controlled, energy
efficient, mobile reverse osmosis system available today. All internal mechanical systems are
mounted on a strong lightweight aluminum frame enclosed in a ruggedized military style
case.
The 2000DM utilizes water sources ranging from fresh surface or well water to heavy sea
(salt) water. This versatility comes from a unique pumping and injection system, with a
variable recovery rate, producing the maximum product flow from the feed water.
The energy required to operate the Aspen 2000DM is less than 1500 watts and is fully
operational on 90/250VAC 50-60 Hz; or from a 24 to 28 VDC power source, the same used
on military vehicles. Cables for both AC and NATO DC plug are provided with each system.
The complete system operates on any of the small 2 KW or larger JP8 fueled military
generators, or a small commercial generator.

Aspen 3300

The Aspen 3300M water purifier supplies 2,500 to 3,300 gallons per day (between 125 to
150 gallons per hour) of highly purified water from virtually any non-saline water
source. Water can be drawn from ditches, ponds, rivers, lakes or standing water that may
contain chemical and/or biological contamination.
Dimensions: Standing 32 x 23 x 19.5 and weighing just under 110 pounds. Designed to be
carried by 2 soldiers and once on the ground rolled into place. The primary Support Case is
under 95 lbs.
