Introduction
1.1 Byco?
Byco is Pakistans emerging energy companies engaged in the businesses of oil refining,
petroleum marketing, chemicals manufacturing and petroleum logistics. Byco basically
get the crude from upstream sector, refine it, and then distribute its product throughout the
country. Byco is headquartered in Karachi. Byco is serving its mission to fulfill the energy
demand within and beyond borders.
Companies under Byco umbrella are:
Byco Oil Pakistan Limited (BOPL)
Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited (BPPL)
Byco Terminals Pakistan Limited (BTPL)

1.2 Products:
Byco is engaged in manufacturing of a wide range of petroleum products with the
objective to achieve sustainable productivity, profitability and high standards to address
the environment, health and safety requirements.
Byco's operational refinery (oil refining complex I) has a capacity to refine 35,000 barrels
a day of crude oil into various saleable components including Liquefied Petroleum Gas
(LPG), Light Naphtha, Heavy Naphtha, High Octane Blending Component, Motor
Gasoline, Kerosene, Jet Fuels, High Speed Diesel and Furnace Oil. We have expanded our
refining complex by setting up another refinery (oil refining complex II) with the capacity
of 120,000 barrels per day which is completed. In future Byco is planning to commission
their third complex (Oil refining complex III).
Byco has the largest capacity crude oil storage tanks in the country. Their petroleum
distribution network supports movement of petroleum products and provide greater
economies of scale.
Bycos marketing network supports retail outlets in more than 80 cities all over Pakistan
and is an emerging leader in oil marketing sector of our economy.
Diverse and highly skilled workforce consists of approximately 800 dedicated employees
shared among Byco companies.
