Online Air Ticket Booking
Technology: Java, NetBeans IDE 7.2, SQL server.
Description: This project mainly deals with generation of e-ticket. It is an electronic
record of the traveler's airline reservation, containing information such as the time, date
and place of the flight, airport, seat assignment and travel class. To issue e-tickets,
airlines must have a database that is integrated with an airline's passenger service system.
They can view the information such as new registration, user login, flight details, book
ticket, and cancel reservation. After placing the order, the electronic record of the ticket
goes into the airline's database, where it holds the passenger's spot. This web application
is coded using different forms like Servlets, JSP, HTML codes, JDBC, SQL.
Fault Identification in a Subsystem Using Texture Base
Technology: MATLAB
Description: Image processing (Texture Base) is a form of signal processing.
Usually bike has many fault related problems like Muffler fault, Crank fault, Gear Box
problem, etc. The sound samples of bike are collected using a Sony recorder device and
these are given as input to the system. The input sound samples are segmented into each
second and converted into images. Extractions of features like GLCM, histogram are
applied to images and based on feature values it can be classified as healthy or faulty.
ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS

level fest TECHTRIX-11.

Information Science Department.
