Why is logical framework important in project management? What do you plan the
preparation of the logical framework of the farmer managed irrigation project to be
implemented in Luvu of Lalitpur district?
The Logical Framework Approach (LFA) is a highly effective strategic planning and
project management methodology and has wide application. LFA has diverse and
competing uses. It is an integrated package of tools which is used for analyzing and
solving planning problems and for designing and managing their solutions The product of
this analytical approach is the logframe (the matrix), which summarizes what the project
intends to do and how, what the key assumptions are, and how outputs and outcomes will
be monitored and evaluated.
For the preparation of the logical framework of the farmer managed irrigation project to
be implemented in Luvu district of Lalitpur district a logframe will be prepared, with a
hierarchy of objectives (the project structure), indicators of performance, means of
verifying the indicators and important risks and assumptions along the horizontal axis and
goal, purpose, outputs and activities along the vertical axis.
