EATALY

GELATO: Most important section

Old Bridge: Cookies/Biscotti Gelato is by far the best gelato I have had in Rome.
Do not let the shop deceive you, this gelato is to DIE FOR. Nutella is also
incredible.
Fatamorgana: The most natural and incredibly fresh gelato in all of Rome. It is
homemade and soooooo good. Very interesting and different flavors. All
chocolate lovers must get Madagascar Chocolate. Mint, milk and chocolate or
Princes Kiss is also a delicious flavor.
Teatro: Definitely a cool gelato place. If you go, get the 4 chocolate/Truffle flavor
and white chocolate combo. Many girls favorite Gelato place, but I prefer the first
two.

Where to go when you get tired of carbs: Linsalata Ricca

incredible salads and they are huge. Also low key incredible bruschetta. They
have a student discount if you stay there it is a flat 8 euros for any salad, water, and
foccacia bread.
Best Pizza in Trastevere: Ginos
Get the truffle pizza. This is my favorite food I have had abroad. It is the most
divine creation in the entire world. You will never look at food the same way.
What is Tonys?
If you are studying abroad in Rome, or just studying abroad in any part of Europe infact,
you have heard of Tonys. Tonys is really as good as everyone says it is. Cheap meal
and Tony LOVES study abroad students. Best chicken parm in all of Italy. Great penne
alla vodka. GET THE ANTI PASTI PLATE!!!! White house wine is the move. We went at
least once a week. Lobster Pasta rules too.

Best Bakery: Forno Pane Cotto

Best foccacia pizza in town. Bakes 90% of the bread you eat in Trastevere. They have
hazelnut burning ovens.
GO TO THE JEWISH GHETTO AND GET THE ARTICHOKES!! Sooo yummy they are
called Roman Jewish Artichokes--Piperno..expensive but a must try
Da-Enzo: Havent been yet but supposedly one of the best places in Rome. I hear the
burrata, artichokes, zucchini flowers and meatballs called polpette, cacio e pepe,
fettucini with a sausage, pea and mushroom sauce is da-bomb. *reservation only at
7:30*
You will never make it here unless you have parents that love you very much but..
Pierluigi: The best meal, by far, that I have ever had in my entire life. I have never been
wined and dined like this in my life. This is the top restaurant in all of Rome. Extremely
expensive seafood restaurant. Had house crudos (hamachi-style salmon, tuna, and
yellow tail with tuna and yellowtail tartare with pomegranate and kiwi toppings), octopus,
best fried calamari in the game, linguini al vongole and tuna with grapefruit and
balsamic reduction.
Best natural food in Rome: Tomatoes. Buy tomatoes at Campo di Fiori. Every day there
is a farmers market there until 1PM.

grappolo doro: right off campo di fiori, nice sit down meal, can get prefixed full course
meal
cul de sac: right off of Campo Di Fiori, great artichoke pie, good greek salad(no lettuce),
had divine cheeses and meats, I like the parchment paper salmon, wine list is longer
than most text books

La Boticella: A MUST!!!! Dont order anything, just get served by a women in a small
restaurant where she cooks out of her kitchen. Must make reservations. 25 euros for
unlimited wine and basically unlimited food. Very Italian. A lot of pasta, a lot of antipasti,
some chicken or meat, and endless wine. FABULOUS
