Distance Learning programmes

The Institute of Open and Distance Education at
Chhattisgarh-based Dr.C.V. Raman University has announced
admissions open for the academic session 2015-16. The institute which is recognised by the Distance Education council,
offers a range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma.

M.Sc. Money, Banking and Finance

Taught at the Department of Economics of the University
of Sheffields Faculty of Social Sciences, this one-year course
prepares students for a carrier in banking, financial institutions
and markets. This is a highly innovative programme that includes
core modules in economics, finance, financial institutions and
markets as well as quantitative techniques.
There are several optional modules also available. Interested
candidates should have a first class or good upper second honours
degree in economics, usually with mathematics and statistics
components. Students must also have ab over all IELTS grade
of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
The course commences in September 2016 and a fee is

Dino World at Skywalk

its 6 th Anniversary
Celebrations has unveiled
Dino World in its mall
atrium. The exhibit features
200 million year-old
dinosaurs of the pre-historic
world.
Ampa Skywalk Dino
World has 6 different
dinosaur species displayed
like
the
T-Rex,
Brachiosaurus, Triceratops,
and Pteranodon. Features
like mouth & claw
movement, blinking eyes and
roaring effects give a more
lively effect to the jungle.
Visitors can take a close
look at the mighty
Tyrannosaurus (T-Rex), the
biggest & most fiercest
dinosaur. The T-Rex in
display with large lethal
teeth is 30 ft long & can
move its massive head &
make powerful roars that
give
enthusiasts
an
astonishing experience.
Visitors can also have a
look at the flying reptile
named Pteranodon &
Brachiosaurus with long
neck & large trunk & a lot
more different species, to
what you could expect.
The exhibit, with jungle
theme is open for free
viewing to the public.
