Important Notes
BP logic, map, custom code and custom service can have a big impact on
performance and are not included in this sizing
Disk storage estimate does not include log, application base storage, backup and
such. Additional storage should be planned ahead
RAM recommendation is 2GB per processor core as a minimum. Best practice
recommendation is 4GB of RAM per processor core.
The estimates presented here are based on data provided by pre-sales and data
collected during standardized benchmarks. These are only estimates. Customer
specific benchmark on the target hardware is the most reliable way to ascertain
actual requirements. Some of the components like custom BPs and custom
translation estimates were not available .So, alternately we have taken components
that closely represent the non available components . And an additional 25% is
added to final volumes as a standard practice.
Overhead for any resource management such as virtualization is not accounted for in
current sizing.
