Project title: Industrial Activity & Sustainable Approach in India
Project overview (1-2 paragraphs):
With reference to the Sustainable development goals of India, I shall study the
applicable government guidelines and incentives to the manufacturing Industries, if
any. This shall also involve study of efforts laid down towards sustainable path by
Industries with case study of two major Industrial Groups (Aditya Birla Group & Tata
Group). It shall lead to preparation of a reference action plan towards Sustainable
development which may be used by others depending on stakeholders needs.
What type of project will this be (essay/paper, video, website, lesson plans for
school unit, dramatic play, proposal for local government, etc.) and why that type
is appropriate for my needs :
As per my need I just need to make it in the form of a presentation/proposal, as this
would be easier to comprehend.
How I will use this project in my life after the class has ended:
I am currently involved in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment
Reports for the Industrial Projects which also includes a chapter on Corporate Social
responsibility. Sometimes we are required to propose/prepare the action plan on
behalf of clients, and my project will increase our subject knowledge and help on
guiding Industries towards a sustainable path. I will submit the proposal to my
organization where in future we can offer the possible opportunities to our Industrial
clients for their upcoming and existing projects.

relevant conditions in the permissions issued.
c. Study the various parameters considered and approach undertaken by the
Industries (Case Studies)

d. Cross referencing the guidelines and the industrial approach, and filling in the
gaps.
e. Cost benefit Analysis and preparation of Action plan.
