SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Management professional with over fifteen years of military and private security and loss prevention
experience. Proven ability to realize corporate goals and objectives and the protection of employees and
assets, while upholding high ethical standards. Expertise in corporate training, management of people,
resources, and the reduction of organizational liability. Articulate team leader and communicator,
comfortable dealing with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• Manage a portfolio of over 26 client accounts, utilizing more than 120 uniformed security officers at
multiple properties, including universities, shopping centers, health care facilities, and gated
communities.
• Prepare and manage annual budget and meet financial goals including gross profit, overtime, and
payroll accuracy.
• Responsible for scheduling sufficient staffing levels for all shifts and events and for personnel time-
keeping entries, reports and payroll management.
• Direct and/or conduct site, client, and job-specific training, and annual refresher training for
security personnel, to meet corporate training standards.
• Coordinate review and implementation of company policies, procedures, and directives, ensuring
compliance by all staff members; perform account audits and compliance inspections.
• Organize and distribute post orders for client properties, based upon specified contractual
obligations and client direction.
• Communicate staffing needs and assist in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates.
• Attend security presentations for business development and prospective client accounts.
Designed and developed the Hard Rock Hotel (HRH) Security Training Manual, HRH Safety Training
Manual, and HRH Security Motto Cards.
Created 32 new and accurate job descriptions in the department; developed and instituted all
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Directed the formulation and implementation of the Hard Rock Hotel Security Training Academy for
the instruction of all in-house security training programs to include; General Security Orientation,
Practical and Tactical Handcuffing, and Pepper Spray (OCAT).
Developed and implemented the “Two Minute Training Program” required by HRH for briefing, and
established departmental quarterly training meetings. Led the integration of in-house training
with the Human Resources department to ensure all departmental officers met Hard Rock Hotel
Customer Service training requirements.
Increased security officer training with local, state, and federal agencies, to include; Las Vegas
Metropolitan Police Department, North Las Vegas Police Department, United States Secret
Service(USSS), Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI), Occupational Health and Safety Organization
(OSHA). Within a two year period, the training department had developed a lasting relationship
with over 34 outside agencies, maintaining “Best Practices” training standards.
Ensured training of officers in areas such as Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid,
as well as general security procedures encompassing the protection of patrons, employees, and
assets.
Managed the general liability and workers’ compensation claim administration and litigation
support activities. Maintained OSHA record log.

and separate operating agencies.
Developed and directed policies for eight work centers. Directly supervised 37 personnel.
Authored regulations for base organizations, major commands and headquarters Tactical Air
Command. Developed civilian and base personnel continuity and training Books.
Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR): managed the daily operation of 16 facilities; directed the
$5.5 million annual budget to coordinate resources, and supplies for facilities.
Planned and implemented $6 million dollar construction and renovation of facilities.
