The first wonder is the Lumonoy lake. There are sixty isles on it and there is people living on
them. The lake is surrounded by sixty hills and each of them has an eagle nest on top and there
are sixty rivers, but only one of them, which is called Lemn, reaches the sea.
The second wonder is the mouth of Trahannonus River, because it bursts its banks by a single
wave similar to a mountain and then it flows back as the sea does at its ebb.
cum ii va placea, astfel ii va fi imbaierea, dupa dorinta sa: daca va vrea, baia ii va fi rece, daca o
va dori calda, calda va fi.
The third wonder is a hot lake, which can be found in the Huich region and it is surrounded by a
wall made out of bricks and stone. People come here to wash themselves at every season of the
year and their bath is exactly as they desire: if they wished for a cold one, the water turns cold, if
they wished for a hot one, hot it is.

pamant.
The fourth wonder: springs of saline water reach the surface of the land. Salt is being drained
from these waters and it is used for salting different types of food. But these springs are not even
close to the sea, for they issue from the ground.

in hodiernum diem.
pana in ziua de astazi.
Another wonder is called Duorig Habern. Or the two kings of the Sabrina River. When the
mouth of Sabrina is flooded by the sea, during the tide, two piles of sea foam are gathered
separately and they fight against each other, as bucks do: they advance one to the other and they
hit each other in turns and then they rebel and advance one against each other again and so they
do at every tide. It has been like that since the beginning of the world, up to this day.
Gura acestui rau curge in Sabrina sic and Sabrina inunda la
flux si marea inunda in acelasi timp gura fluviului mai sus numit si
There is also another wonder: Oper Linn Liuan. The mouth of that river flows into Sabrina and
when Sabrina is flooded at tide, the sea also overflows in the mouth of the previously mentioned

river and the sea remains there, in the mouth of that river, as a lake formed into the depth of
Oper Linn Liuan river , and it doesnt retract. There is a beach near that river and while Sabrina
is flooded at tide this beach is not covered by the sea and when both the sea and Sabrina retract,
the so-called lake throws up everything that it swallowed from the sea and therefore the beach is
covered by water - thrown up and reflowed by a single wave as a mountain. If it had been there
the army from the whole region and they had looked upon the wave, they would have been
carried off by it, having their clothes wet and even their horses would have been taken away in
the same way. But, on the other hand, if the army had been turned with its back against this
wave, the wave would not have harmed the army. When the sea is at its ebb, the beach, which
was covered by the wave, is uncovered again and the sea retracts from it.

nume Finnaun Guur Helic. Unii pescari vin in
parte.
There is also something uncommon in Cinlipiuc region. There can be found a spring called
Finnaun Guur Helic, but no river flows from it, or in it. Some fish men come to this place, some
others even enter the spring from the eastern side and they catch fish there. Others enter the
fountain from the left, or from the right, or even from the upper side of the spring and they catch
fish. But the fish they catch is different depending on the side of the spring they enter. It is
amazing that one can find fish in the spring, even though there is no river flowing from, nor to it,
but there are still four types of fish to be found in the spring, and it is neither big, nor deep. Its
depth is to the knees and it is of 20 feet in length and of 20 feet in width and it has tall shores at
each side of it.

Near the river named Guoy, you can find apples on top of the ash-trees in the acclive forest,
which is near the mouth of this river.

gropii. Si este numita Virth Guint in graiul britonnilor si in latina suflul vantului . Este
extraordinar cum sulfa vantul din pamant.
There is another miraculous happening in Guent region. There is a pit and the wind is blowing
ceaselessly from it at all seasons. Even in summer, when the wind is not usually blowing, from
this pit the wind is trucelessly blowing insomuch that no one can stand in front of it. It is named
Virth Guint in the language of Britons and the blowing of the wind in Latin. It is extraordinary
how the wind is blowing from the ground.
integrum vitam finivit.

sfantul Iltutus fondase o biserica in jurul corpului omului sfant si a altarului si a ramas pana in
zilele astea altarul tinut in aer din voia domnului. A venit un regisor purtand sceptrul in mana sa
acela a murit in acea luna fara sa fie lovit. Alta varianta adevarata este ca s-a uitat sub altar si sia pierdut simtul vazului si in aceeasi luna a murit fara sa fie lovit.
There is another wonder in the Guyr altar, which is located in the place called Loyngarth, and
that altar is held up by the will of God. I believe that it is better to relate the story of this altar
than to keep it silent. It happened in the days when Saint Iltutus was preaching in the cave which
is near that sea which laps against the shores of the afore mentioned place, and the mouth of the
cave was directed to the sea and, behold, a boat approaches towards him, having two men on
board and those men were carrying the corpse of the holy man and an altar which was levitating
above the corpse by the will of God. The sailors said to Saint Iltutus: that man of Lord entrusted
us to this corpse and we were told to bring it to you and bury it along with you and you should

not disclose to anyone his name, unless they swear by him. And they buried him and after the
funeral they got back to their boat and sailed away. But Saint Iltutus had founded a church
around the corpse of the holy man and the altar and up to this day the altar is still held up by the
will of God. Some king came carrying a twig in his hands in order to test this wonder. He moved
the twig around the altar and held it with both of his hands from both sides and then pulled
towards him the twig, proving by this the genuiness of the wonder, but after this, the king died
within a month, without being hurt in any way. Another man looked under the altar and lost his
sense of sight and after that he died within a month, without being hurt in any way.

mentionat.
There is another miracle in the afore mentioned region, Guent. There is a spring close to the wall
of the Mouric well and there is a timber in the middle of the spring and people go there to wash
their hands and face and they hold the timber under their feet. I have experienced this and
convinced myself of it. When the river is flooded by the sea, worst case Sabrina bursts its banks
and overflows and covers the entire coastal area and reaches the spring, which is flooded by
Sabrinas tide and the timber is taken to the ocean and it is entwisted in the water for three days
and during the fourth day it is brought back to the afore mentioned spring. But it happened that
one of the peasants buried the timber to test the wonder, but in the fourth day the timber came
back as usual and the peasant who had hidden and buried the timber, died within the end of that
month.

tumulum in longitudine aliquando sex pedes, aliquando novem, aliquando duodecim, aliquando
quidecim. in qua mensura metieris eum in ista vice, iterum non invenies eum in una mensura, et
ego solus probavi.
Este o alta minune in regiunea numita Ercing.
soldatului Arthur si acesta insusi l-a ucis chiar in acel loc si l-a ingropat.
There is another wonder in the Ercing region. There is a grave near a spring, which is so-called
Licat Anir, because the name of the man who was buried there was Anir: he was the son of
Arthur the soldier who himself killed and buried him in this very place. And people come to
measure the length of the grave and they find it of six and then of nine and then of twelve and
then of even fifteen feet. And the first measurement will always be different from the second one
and I have tried this myself.

gravabitur iterum ullo taedio quam abisset solus in extremis finibus cosmi.

There is another amazing happening in the region called Cereticiaun. There is a mountain,
surnamed Cruc Maur and there is a grave on its peak and anyone who would come to this grave,
if they stretched themselves out next to the grave, no matter how short he is, the grave would
seem to be of the exact same size as the man, and even if the man was short and small, the grave
would be alike him. And if the man was tall and big, or if the man was of four elbows long, the
size of the grave would seem close to the mans. And every hapless pilgrim who has bowed
down three times to this grave, he will never be burdened again with any misfortune, not even if
he went by himself to the boundaries of the cosmos.
a fost pusa in varful gramezii.
There is another miracle in the Buelt region. There is a pile of stones there and on the top of it
you will find a stone with a dogs trace on it. It was when Cabal, which was soldiers Arthur
dog, was haunting Troynt the Pig, he left his trace on the stone and Arthur, having collected a
pile of stones under the stone on which there was the trace of his dog, named it Carn Cabal. And
there were people coming who carried the stone in their hands during day time and night and in
the following day it is come upon the top of the pile.

The tale records the story of Culhwch a young nobleman cursed to love Olwen, the daughter of a
giant. In order to marry her, Culhwch needs to pass some impossible quest. With the help of
Arthur(the king) and his fellow-heroes, Culhwch accomplishes the trials and gains access to his
love, Olwen.
