Silo measuring technology


With the reliable measuring technology from leading manufacturers
(completely cabled in the terminal
box located in the silo skirt) you
will always have an overview. The
programme comprises minimum
and maximum level indicators 6
(optionally with alarm), continuous
filling level measurement 7 , silo
weighing systems 9 and control
cabinets 8 up to silo control
systems. By the way: for visualization of the silo filling levels a silo
management system can be used
which transfers the data to internal

Silot (electromechanical
plumbline gauge):
For virtually continuous control
of the filling level, suitable for
granular up to highly dust evolving
bulk solids. A starting impulse
lowers the measuring cable with
the contact weight by means of
a cable winch in the silo.

Rotary paddle type limit switch:


For use as maximum level indicator
(assembly in the silo roof) or for

control of filling levels, suitable
for granular bulk solids and those
giving-off dust.

Water torch: Fast precise


powerful. The water torch cuts
aluminium plates up to approx.
200 mm and steel plates up to
approx. 150 mm with a pump
pressure of 4100 bar.
