Trimester 1 Honor Roll Ceremonies

Hardy Brown College Preps Trimester 1 Honor Roll Ceremonies will be
held at the Sturges Center for the Fine Arts on Wednesday,
November 4th. All scholars will come to school on this day as normal.
Kinder and first grade will be bused to the Sturges Center. 2nd Grade and
up will walk to the Sturges Center on this day. All Honor Roll letters will
be sent home on Thursday, October 29th.
On Monday we hosted our monthly
Muffins for Mom event. Make sure
to come out each month to enjoy
some delicious treats, and to discuss
upcoming events at HBCP. Thank you
to Mary Ann, a grandparent at HBCP,
for helping with the beautiful set up
above.

Grade Level Honor Roll Ceremony Times
Kindergarten: 8:15-8:45 a.m.
First Grade: 9:15-9:45 a.m.
Second Grade: 10:15-10:45 a.m.
Third Grade: 11:15-11:45 a.m.
Fourth & Fifth Grade: 12:15-12:45 p.m.
Middle School: 1:15-1:45 p.m.

Perfect Attendance Assemblies

Each Trimester HBCP hands out Perfect Attendance awards to
scholars who earned Perfect Attendance for the trimester. This means
scholars are present at school daily and have zero absences. The
assemblies will take place on Thursday, November 5th. Scholars will
be honored with an award and Perfect Attendance wristband. Scholars
who earn Perfect Attendance in Trimester 1 and Trimester 2, will
participate in a family luncheon at the end of Trimester 2 in February.
Times will be announced next week for the Trimester 1 Perfect
Attendance Assemblies.

SBAC Scores

Scholars in grades 3 -7 participated in the state testing for Common Core

last school year (in May). This test is called the SBAC (Smarter Balanced
Assessment Consortium). All test scores were mailed home to each
scholars residence for scholars who were in grades 3rd-7th last school year.
An upcoming parent meeting in regards to the SBAC scores will be coming
soon. More details will come soon.
