The Community Development Society of the Philippines (CDSP), in partnership with the
University of Santo Tomas (UST)-SIMBAHAYAN Community Development Office, UST-Faculty of
Arts and Letters, UST-Graduate School, University of the Philippines Diliman-College of Social
Work and Community Development, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde-Department of Student
Life-Academic Extension Program, and University of the Philippines Los Baos-College of Public
Affairs and Development, will hold the 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Community Development
on October 21, 22 and 23, 2015 at UST, Espaa, Manila.
It is our pleasure to invite you to take part in this forthcoming conference with the theme:
Community Development and Human Security: Perspectives, Practices and Potentials
From the Ground. For this year, over fifty (50) community development and human securityrelated researches and stories will be shared by community development researchers and
practitioners.
A conference fee of Php3,500.00 (inclusive of meals and conference kit) will be charged to help
defray conference expenses. Discounted fees for students are pegged at Php2,000 (upon
presentation of valid enrolment form). You may deposit your payment using the following bank

Check payments must be in the name of CDSPI. We shall provide Official Receipts upon
presentation of deposit slip. Please note that the participants are expected to shoulder their own
travel and accommodation expenses to and from the conference venue. Kindly submit the
