UNILAB UNISUITE is the smart platform and unique tool for design and rating of shell & tube, plate, tube in tube and coaxial heat exchangers.
All software use the library REFPROP of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). It also comprises the
thermodynamic and thermophysical properties of more than 300 liquids & gases, and 12 mixtures of liquids, many of
them commonly used in the Chemical & Petrochemical fields. Each software integrates correction factors, which lets
the user to align results with the experimental data. Our calculation models are supported by almost 30 years of research & expertise. Our products represent a consolidated value for the HVAC industry, and they can be used in the
Power Generation, Food & Pharmaceutical industries.
UNILAB UNISUITE COAX allows you to verify and design coaxial
heat exchangers of the following types: fluid-fluid, evaporation,
condensation, vapor inside/outside the tubes. A powerful program that guides the designer to the realization of high-efficiency
heat exchangers as quick as possible. It allows you to design a
heat exchanger from scratch without setting any dimensional
parameters. Specifying only the fluids temperature/flow rates,
the required capacity and the maximum pressure drops, it will
automatically calculate one or more high-efficient heat exchangers that achieve the required capacity with a minimum pressure
drop. After that, you can review the results, select one of the
many combinations generated and send the documents made
directly to the production department, including the 3D design of
the heat exchanger in 1:1 scale, exportable in many CAD formats.

- Heat exchangers selection: it selects an exchanger suitable with the customer requirements
In Free Calculation, the user can choose:
- Verify: the user can rate the capacity and the pressure drops, knowing all the geometrical parameters of the
exchanger and work conditions, changing one or more input data at the same time (for example: fluid flow,
fluid, tube type, fluid temperatures, etc)
- Design: it is possible to insert the work conditions and the capacity required, without knowing all the
geometrical parameters, to build the best exchanger for the required capacity
Calculation
- Design from scratch: allows the complete design of a brand new exchanger from scracth. In case you need
modes
to design a special exchanger and you lack the time to use a complex software, and set all the parameters,
with our software you just have to select the fluids, set the working conditions and the required capacity, click
on the Automatic calculation box and you are done. With this new feature you can just type the required
capacity and click a button, and then the software will design a brand new exchanger without any dimensional parameter set in. This lets you design a special exchanger, that perfectly matches the requirements of the
customer, in just no time
