eaie of assembly),healthand safety,serviceability,etc. Also to
attempt explainwhy
the new version of the productis designed the way it is and why certain
materialsand methods of manufacturehave been used in preferenceto others.

The product selected shouldpreferablybe one with which you are familiar-
Typicalexamplesincludeelectrickettles,lamps,telephones(including mobiles),
computers(includinglaptops),PDAs,sat-navs, data storage media,audio and video
equipment(egtelevisions,mp3 players/ ipods,recordingtechnology, etc). However
any other suitable product would be acceptable.

Office)& then signingand enteringthe date and time on the recordsheet.A
satisfactorycourseworkmust be submitted in orderto gain a creditfor this class.
LATE SUBMISSIONSwill be penalisedby deducting 5o/oper day from the
markawarded- e.g. if you receive600/o for your courseworkand it is
submittedthree days late, yourfinal mark will be 45olo.
