Introduction: Even though today's educators have

more research than ever on techniques to develop an
effective learning community, why, then, does the topic
of classroom management remain one of the most
significant concerns for pre-service teachers entering the
teaching profession? For schools, the appropriate learning
environment is critical to student success and strikes at
the very heart of teaching. What is the role of classroom
management

in

meeting

academic

and

social

expectations in the classroom? Is there a connection

between creating a supportive learning environment and
academic performance?
Educational

technology

or

Information

and

Communications Technologies (ICTs) comprise not just

computers or the Internet. They may include such diverse
tools as videoconferencing, digital television, electronic
whiteboards, and gaming. Increasingly ICTs not only
include small, portable devices such as tablets, MP3
players, gaming devices, and Smart- and cell phones, but
have in fact become small portable devicesa trend that
will certainly continue.

Project description:

Hardware side: our project is designed for a thirty

students classroom. Each student can own a tablet which
is connected wirelessly through two access points to the
teachers laptop those are all connected to the server.
The server and the access points are connected to an 8port switch. In addition we have an LCD projector which
permits the students to watch what the teacher is doing.
We may not forget to switch UPS to the server. All of the
instruments can be collected in a mobile card performed
for them.
Software side: we install windows server 2012 R2 on
the server, and windows 8.1 on the tablets and laptops.
Lanschool program installed to the tablets and laptops to
control the activities of the students, so the teacher can
monitor, control and follow step by step the activities of
the students. The teacher can create exams and upload
exam files, books, courses and send them to his students.
In addition to the lanschool we have other programs such
as, geo-gebra , Google earth, etc

Objectives:
Utilitarian Objectives

One of the main aims of ICT is to help students to become

competent and confident users who can use the basic
knowledge and skills acquired to assist them in their daily
lives. It is also supposed to prepare students for the world
of tomorrow. It aims to help learners to have an open and
flexible mind. This will help them to adjust to the
inevitable future changes.
Social Aims
It aims to equip learners with the appropriate social skills
required to cooperate with fellow ICT learners for a more
productive learning experience. It empowers students
who are unable to use this technology outside the school
premises by ensuring sufficient access to those students.
Through this, it will also ensure equity among all learners,
as they will all have the same opportunities to use the ICT
facilities in school. Another social objective of ICT is to
facilitate good communication between the students,
thus promoting better social understanding.
Cultural Objectives
ICT aims to assist students to appreciate the beauty and
diversity of culture. It also aims to help students become
well-cultured citizens of the modern world. It achieves
this as it facilitates the discovery and appreciation of

various cultural heritages of different countries around

the world.
Personal Objectives
ICT aims to assist students to grow personally by
facilitating

different

methods

of

learning.

Distance-

learning programs are now provided by most colleges and

universities. Many people are using these programs to get
degrees that they would not have been able to receive
without ICT. It also aims to allow the public to easily
access the necessary information over the Internet.

Benefits of ICT in Learning:

Sometimes you need to convince colleagues to think
about using educational technology in their lessons, or to
identify where in their scheme of work they could
incorporate it.
This list is a starting point: you may find one or two points
that would "resonate" with your co-worker, and grab his
or her attention.

1- Where information and communications technology

(ICT) is taught well, it has been shown to enhance
pupils levels of understanding and attainment in
other subjects. Thats because real ICT is more
about thinking skills than about mastering particular
software applications.
2- ICT

can

provide

pedagogical

both

the

resources

framework

for

enabling

and
pupils

the
to

become effective independent learners. For example,

computer

programs

themselves

to

the

are

available

pupils

level

that

and

adjust

then

set

appropriate tasks and give feedback on performance.

Used wisely, these can help pupils to move on.
Also, newer technologies such as Web

2.0

applications enables pupils and others to collaborate

in ways that reflect a broadly constructivist approach
to education.
3- ICT places all learners on an equal footing. Given the
right hardware, software and curriculum activities,
even severely physically disadvantaged pupils can
achieve the same degree of success as anyone else.
4- ICT has been shown to have benefits in terms of
motivating pupils. That comes about partly through
factors like being able to produce nice-looking work

with no teachers red marks all over it, and partly

because the computer is seen as being impartial and
non-judgmental in its feedback to the pupil.
5- ICT enables pupils to gather data that would
otherwise be difficult or even impossible to obtain.
For example, data from inaccessible places (eg outer
space), inaccessible times (eg overnight), from both
overseas and nationally on demand (without having
to physically go anywhere) or data at very precise
time intervals.
6- ICT enables pupils to gather data that would
otherwise be time-consuming or costly or both. For
example, pupils can use the internet to get up-to-theminute information on prices. They can use a DVD or
the internet to watch movies of old dictators
speaking, or the moon landings, or to listen to a
piece of music by Mozart.
7- ICT enables pupils to experiment with changing
aspects of a model, which may be difficult or even
impossible for them to do otherwise. For example,
pupils of Business Studies and Economics can see
what might happen to the economy if interest rates

were raised or lowered. Pupils can use webcams to

capture the development of an egg or a plant.
8- ICT enables pupils to draft or redraft their work until
they are satisfied with it.
9- Another reason to use ICT in lessons is because it can
help to implement personalized learning.
10-

Pupils usually enjoy using computers and other

types of technology, so lessons which make use of it

start off with an advantage (which is all too often
squandered).
11-

Educational technology puts the pupil in control

(if it is well-designed), enabling her to personalize

the interface, select and create resources, and even
choose what to learn.
12-

Just about every aspect of modern life involves

educational technology; therefore, to not make use

of it in the curriculum is anachronistic.
13-

Because educational technology pervades all

aspects of modern society, schools have a duty of

care to ensure that pupils understand issues such as
keeping

safe

online,

protecting

their

identity,

recognizing good and misleading information sources

on the internet, the effects of educational technology

on communications and the economy, to name but a
few issues.

In addition to the above intangible benefits also there are

many tangible benefits of ICT in learning, such as
increasing the number of students in the school and
canceling the use of papers, boards, chalks and books
which costs less to the students and the school. By
increasing the number of students it enhance the income
of the school budget.

Conclusion: From the discussion above we conclude

that this way of learning is the best which updates
information globally between the students and saves
money to the parents and increases the school income.
By this project the traditional learning will stop and make
the learning more flexible and acceptable by students
which attract them.

Our plan is to enhance schools to start this learning

technique, and hoping for more progress, success, and
achieve our goals.
