STRATEGIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP ASSESEMENT 2015

1. Group reports on strategic venture growth (20%)

Each group from each tutorial class form a group that consist of 5 persons.
Each group has to choose a company from the internet that aged 10 years
and above.
Each group has to register their company employed to Strategic
Entrepreneurship coordinator Bachok/Jeli/PC and will be sent to Puan
Yuhanis as coordinator of Strategic Entrepreneurship UMK. It is to make
sure that no group will employ the same company for this assignment
purposes.
The report must have at least 2000 words
The proper and professional report must consist the item below:
The background of the company
The vision, mission and objective of the company
The company problems/opportunities
The solution for the company (must use one theory from
strategic entrepreneurship theorist- search from journal)
2. Group reports on industrial talks (20%)
Each group from each tutorial class form a group that consist of 3 persons.
There will be 2 industrial talks that focuses on strategy for new venture
and the other one is new venture growth that will be organise by the
Bachok/Jeli/PC coordinator particularly.
Each report consists of at least 1000 words which mean at least 2000
words for 2 industrial talks.
The proper and professional report must consist the item below:
The brief background of the entrepreneurs and the company
The vision, mission and objective of the company
The strategy used for new venture creation/venture growth
The suggested strategy to wealth creation of this company
with justification
3. Group project on strategic entrepreneurship (30%)
This project based on service learning pedagogy which means it has
elements of contribution to the society
This project should produce 3 items as below:
Project report blueprint of the company (2000 words) (10%)
Individual reflective journal (1000 words) (10%)
Reflection are based on this project
Reflection should reflect on the theory, teamwork and
personal contribution
Presentation (15 minutes) (10%)
Presentation should focus on the narrative of the project
Also include the video respond of the entrepreneur on
your group suggestion for company improvement based
on the Government Budget 2015

Each group from each tutorial class form a group that consist of 7 persons.

Each group has to choose a micro or small company (less than 10 years)
around the university for service learning purposes.
Each group will study the company and write a report on the company
Each group have to study government budget 2015
Each group have to suggest to the company the growth strategy using
Government Budget 2015
The proper and professional report must consist the item below:
The background of the entrepreneurs and company
The vision, mission and objectives (if doesnt have, create one)
The suggested strategy based on Government budget 2015
The brief action plan for the strategy
