Basic Design Procedure

We studied some of the cycle on the internet and in the books, which has high performance on
low input, Mechanisms which they used, availability of these mechanism, cost of the mechanism
or fabrication cost, and optimization in the mechanism to enhance its performance.

Innovative or Distinct features of your vehicle

Small Description
We inspired from the "Great Moon Buggy Race" in NASA. Our college team participated in
2010. There are some drawbacks in that vehicle so we kept that drawbacks in our mind and
design our vehicle. We have prepared our vehicle by taking into account of various benefits of
vehicle and have also tried to solve the demerits of the Moon Buggy.
As Moon Buggy was light we have make our cycle heavy in terms of strength. Various shock
absorber and gears assemblies are used for vehicle in order to accelerate and decelerate the
vehicle in various tracks. We have used best quality tyres or mountain tyres which is a major
advantage of our vehicle.

Implementation
Our Design product is suitable for both urban and rural areas. This vehicle is suitable for poor
peoples. Workers whose working place is very-very far away from their residence will also be
benefited by it. It may also prove beneficial at public place like railway station, airport etc.
because of its large space of luggage and two passenger seats. It is eco-friendly and easy to park
any where.
Cost Implication
We have considered most of the factors which can minimize the cost of the vehicle, so that all
class of people can afford it. We use metal pipes in place of fiber bodies which is less in cost as
compare to fiber body and also strengths our vehicle. We have used tubeless tyres which can
reduce the risk of tyre busting and punture. Our body structure is simple and innovating which is
a major source of reduction in cost of our vehicle.
Feasibility
We have especially taken into account our vehicle simple design which is a major source of
feasibility of our vehicle. We have made our vehicle chassis, simple and compound which only
gives strength and makes our vehicle strong and durable. We have used good quality breaks and
easy handling devices for the benefit of customer.

How is our vehicle commercially feasible?

1) Durable, comfortable for the customer.

2) Especially designed for the two peoples.
3) Using of best quality mountain tyres.
4) Separate space given for luggage.
5) Easily available parts.
