To talk before you are asked is called impulsiveness.


To talk when you are asked is called lack of candor.
To talk without noticing the sovereign roads mood is called blindness.
It is my ambition that the old people should be able to live in peace, all
friends should be loyal and all young people should love their elders.
5. The true man has no worries, the wise man has no perplexities; and the brave
man has no fear.
6. To enjoy wealth and power without coming by it through the right means is to
me like many floating clouds.
7. One can come to be a wise man by hearing a great deal and following the
good, and by seeing a great deal and remembering it.

9. Dont be too hard on people. What concerns me is how they come, and not
what they do when they go away.

reward the thieves.

another mistake.
13.A man who has a beautiful soul always has some beautiful things to say but a
man who says beautiful things does not necessarily have a beautiful soul.
14.The superior man always remember how he was punished for his mistakes,
the inferior man always remember what presents he got.
15.The superior man is liberal towards others, but does not completely agrees
with them.
16.The superior man is firm, but does not fight; he mixes easily with others, but
does not form cliques.
17.The superior man blames himself, the inferior man blames others.
18.If you govern the people legalistically and control them by punishment, they
will avoid crime, but have no personal sense of shame.
19.Reviewing what you have learned and learning a new, you are fit to be a
teacher.
20.To study and not to think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous.
21.If you see what is right and fail to act on it, you lack courage.
22.If you are strict with yourself, your mistakes will be few.
23. A true man will always be found to have a courage, but a courageous man
will always.
