From 1910 to 1940 the simple architecture of

“bungalow” style homes flourished here and in

Europe. Bungalows provided a well-designed,

conveniently sized and affordable single

family home that still cherished the sense of

The goal of the Arts and Crafts movement at the

turn of the 20th century was to “unclutter” the

minds of people who had been exposed to the

ornate style of Victorian design. Our Mission
