LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I have been Sagar Samants project guide and his supervisor as his teacher of Microprocessors and
Microcontrollers II . I have seen his enthusiasm and zeal for handling higher-level microcontrollers
like ARM with which he worked as a part of the summer industrial training. I had found him to be a
highly self-motivated and extremely diligent student. He was among the top 5 students in his batch.
I also had the pleasure of guiding him for his final year project titled Heart rate monitoring System
based on PSoC and Android platform. Sagar worked as a part of a four member team to complete
this project.He was able to develop a full fledged patient heart rate monitoring system in which he
displayed the ECG waveform of the patient successfully on an android application. While working
on the project, he highlighted his ability to work with softwares such as MATLAB, PSoC creator 3.0,
Keil and Eclipse.
Sagar and his team made us proud with their intense dedication and enthusiasm for the project. Sagar
worked on the project from scratch, he worked on estimating the design of the system, its
specification and the total scope of the project as a whole. He worked very well with his team
members, led the team with great finesse and motivated them to finish the tasks assigned to them.
His rapport with his three team members was great.The project had multiple facets, and at times the
volume of work was far in excess. But at no stage did their enthusiasm and energy flag, and for this
Sagars contribution is to be commended.
He is also extremely creative when approaching any problem and keenly investigates the various
options available to tackle it. He is a diligent worker and is extremely meticulous in his work. Sagar
interacted with me extensively during his third year when he was working on technical papers on
emerging technologies like that fascinated him. I was impressed not only by the hard work he had put
in researching the data but also by his imaginative and ingenious coupling of diverse technologies to
allow their application in a variety of remarkable ways.
I have come to know Sagar really well during this period, and have appreciated both his academic
and management skills. I will follow his future progress with interest, as I am sure that he will be an
achiever in the next stage as well. I wish him the very best and recommend him very strongly for
admission with all financial assistance possible.
