NOTE FOR APPLICANTS TO M.Com Programme in


Advance Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance
a. Prospectus and Admission form will be available for download from the college website
www.nmcollege.in from Saturday 25th July 2015.

b. Filled in forms along with the documents specified in d will be accepted from 27th
July 2015 to 3rd August 2015 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in Room No.3 on the
Ground Floor of the College Building.NO FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DUE
DATE.
a. Eligibility Criterion for M.Com. Part I Programme: O.5977: A learner for being
eligible for admission to the Post Graduate Programme i.e. Master of Commerce,
shall have passed the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce (three
years / Six Semester integrated course) or the degree B. Com. (Old Course) or the
other Semester based Programmes i.e. Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance)
or Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) or Bachelor of Commerce
(Financial Markets) or Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) of this University,
or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto or
Bachelor of Mass Media Degree Examination at the M.Com. Degree levels,
(Specifically for admission to M.Com. Business Management).
b. The applicant needs to submit ONLY the PHOTO copies (NO ORIGINALS) of the
following documents along with the application form :
One Passport Size Photograph
Photo copy of mark sheet of all the Semesters i.e. Semester I to
Semester VI. In case student does not have Sixth semester mark
sheet, then the student is required to attach Provisional Mark sheet
issued by the College on College letter head.
Provisional Statement of Eligibility, in case of students who have
passed their Graduation or equivalent examinations from other
than University of Mumbai.
Students applying under Gujarati Speaking Category are required to
submit their caste certificate and any one of the document example
one of the Parent mark sheet having Gujarati as one of the subject
or Vastipatra along with the application forms.
Any other certificate, if required for Other Category.
c. ALL THE MERIT LISTS WOULD BE BASED ON THE FORMS COLLECTED from 27th July 2015 to
3rd August 2015.

d. No form will be accepted after the due date

e. Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the student at all
Semesters (I, II, III, IV V & VI) taken together. In case of a tie, the student with
higher marks in Semester VI will be given preference. In case of tie again, student
with higher marks at Sem V will be preferred.

f. M. Com Part I (Sem I) Fees Payable: Rs.9406/- (for open, gujarati and other category
other than reserve category from student who has passed T.Y.
B.Com./B.M.S./B.A.F./B.B.I./B.F.M. Examination from University of Mumbai OR Rs. 451/(for Reserve Category Students) by DD or Pay Order ONLY in favour of Narsee
Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
i. At the time of admissions, the applicants are required to submit the following
documents in ORIGINAL and 2 photo copies of:
T.Y. B.Com./B.M.S./B.A.F./B.B.I./B.F.M/B.M.M
Photocopy of Ration Card / Telephone Bill / Electricity Bill as proof of
residence.
Any other certificate as applicable, in the name of the student.

Provisional Statement of Eligibility, if required.
j. Once a next merit list is displayed, no admissions shall be made from the
earlier/previous merit list.
j. In case, the student has any difficulty in paying fees or any other problem, he/she
is requested to contact Prof. Mrs. Gomathi Iyer Vice Principal & Convener,
Admission Committee or the Principal only. Please do not inquire with any other
staff for information regarding admissions.
k. Incomplete forms will be rejected
l. Students who have passed their T.Y. B.Com./B.M.S./B.A.F./B.B.I/B.F.M/B.M.M..or
equivalent examination from other than University of Mumbai must apply for
Provisional Statement of Eligibility after their name appear in the merit list and at
the time of taking admission.
m. All the forms are accepted on provisional basis subject to the verification of the
photocopies with the original documents at the time of admissions.
Regular lectures will commence from 19th August 2015. Lecture timings will be
from 6.00 pm. to 9.00p.m Roll call and timetable will be displayed on 19th August
2015 at 3.00 p.m
