Installing & Running the Offline HP Smart Storage Administrator
-------------------------------------------------------------Mount the ISO image via ILO, or burn/write the ISO image to the desired media (C
D/DVD). Insert the media into the server and boot the server. Verify that your
system can boot from the
desired media.
A menu with the three boot options (HPSSA, HPSSACLI, HPSSASCRIPTING) is shown.
The user can manually select which utility to start; or if no selection is made,
HPSSA is automatically started.
This image is a bootable environment that immediately starts HPSSA to allow
configuration of storage.
This ISO image can also be mounted as a CD image through ILO. It is highly
recommended that your server have the latest BIOS firmware and latest ILO
firmware installed.
This utility provides the following boot options:
* The web based Smart Storage Administrator Utility (HPSSA)
* The command line Smart Storage Administrator CLI Utility (HPSSACLI)
* The command line Smart Storage Administrator Scripting Utility (HPHPSSASC
RIPTING)
