Virtual Advertisement and Announcement Propeller Controlled by Android

Application

Propeller is a term associated with a circular rotating object. As this needs to rotate
whole circuit assembly, there must be some prime mover attached to it. It uses
bright light emitting diodes for displaying the characters and symbols on its
assembly.

The device need to register authorized users must first register their

mobile phone numbers to the device to be able to post advertisement and

announcements. The device has default display announcements base on the current
time and holiday event. Users will send messages via android application control
panel to display an advertisement and announcements on the device. The Virtual
Ad device will authenticate the sender of the message before posting the
announcement or advertisement. And messages posted in the device will be stored.
The device will display the message sent by the user and it will generate logs of the
posted messages.

Automated Sun Tracking Solar Panel

As the non-renewable energy resources are decreasing, use of renewable resources

for producing electricity is increasing. Solar panels are becoming more popular day
by day.

Solar panel absorbs the energy from the Sun and is stored in the battery.

This energy can be utilized when required. Utilization of the energy stored in
batteries is mentioned in below given applications. Solar panels should absorb
energy to a maximum extent. This can be done only if the panels are continuously
placed towards Sun direction. So solar panel should continuously rotate in the
direction of Sun. This article describes about circuit that rotates solar panel. In how
the automated sun tracking solar panel works, first power the circuit, then Place the
set up in dark. When the two LDRs are in dark, there is no movement in the panel.
The solar panel follows the direction of the light. In the middle, when intensity on
both LDRs is equal, panel will not move until there is difference between the light
intensity falling on the LDRs.

Greenhouse Environment Monitoring and Controlling via SMS

This project is used to measure the various parameters like temperature, humidity,
soil moisture and light. Values of these sensors are displayed on a LCD. These
parameters are sensed by respective sensors and sensor output is amplified and
given to ADC. Microcontroller controls these parameters and keeps them at some
predefined levels using relay interface. These relays can be connected to Fan,
Heater and motors. At the same time these values of all parameters are sent
through SMS using a GSM modem.

Real-time Automated Board Eraser

The project is about finding a real time solution for the problems caused by the
chalk pieces or whiteboard markers used in the classroom. To overcome these
problems that are faced daily by the students and faculty, this thesis topic proposal
has been suggested to automatically erase the board.

The instrument moves

forward and backward erasing the board and collecting the dust automatically from

the erasing material due to the rotation of the roller. These processes are
automated using the microcontroller. Thus the device avoids the dust flow in the
environment and thereby providing good solution for the problems faced by the
student, faculty and other electronic equipments that are used inside the class room
in a cost effective and time efficient way.

The real time automated black board

eraser is used to clean the board automatically and to absorb the dust produced
during erasing the board. The model consists of a wiper motor which is used to
move the entire erasing apparatus from one end to the other end for complete
erasing of the board.

Automated Ice Cream Maker Vending Machine

Dirty ice cream makers are known to have been using either low-class
equipment, such as ordinary mixers and motors, or manual mixing in making their
products. The process undergone by such makers is very much time consuming and
unhygienic.

Labor cost is high and problems are encountered in terms of

seasonality and marketability. In this paper, the ice cream maker is automated and
microcontroller based as well as costs less, ensures more safety, improves the
quality of dirty ice creams, eliminates the use of ice and salt, and lessens the time
consumed in attaining finished products.

A domestic ice cream maker is

a machine used to make small quantities of ice cream for personal consumption. Ice
cream makers may prepare the mixture by employing the hand-cranking method or
by employing an electric motor. The resulting preparation is often chilled through
either pre-cooling the machine or by employing a machine that freezes the mixture.
An ice cream maker has to simultaneously freeze the mixture while churning it so as
to aerate the mixture and avoid ice crystals. As a result, most ice creams are ready
to consume immediately. However, those containing alcohol must often be chilled
further to attain a firm consistency. A vending machine is a machine that dispenses
items such as snacks, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets to customers
automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine.
The automated ice cream maker vending machine works when the customers
chooses the flavour of the ice cream that is written on the LCD saved in the
database. After the customer orders the ice cream, the customer will insert the coin
or the bill in the bill. After several minutes, the ice cream will be served. It also
includes the data logging of when the customers ordered the ice cream.
