One post of Senior Research Fellow under CRP on Nanotechnology-ICAR is available in the
Division of Agricultural Chemicals, purely on contractual basis (as indicated below). The
interview will be held on 06-11-2015 at 10.30 AM in conference Room, Division of

Essential qualifications

Ph.D. or Masters degree holder with integrated degrees (5 years program) in Chemical
sciences/ Chemistry/ Polymer Sciences/ polymer Chemistry/ Nano
Science/Technology/Material Science/ Analytical chemistry/Agricultural
Chemicals/Agrochemical and pest management/ Soil Science and Agricultural chemistry
Professional Masters degree ( 3 years )+Bachelors degree (3years)
Masters degree in Basic Sciences (3 years Bachelor's degree + 2 years Master's degree)
should have qualified NET and have 02 years research experience
NET examination implies any national level examination conducted by Central Govt
departments/agencies for admission to Ph D programme. CSIR-CSIR-UGC NET, MHRDGATE, DBT-BET and test conducted in Bioinformatics by BNC
DAE-JESR and JGEEBILS, NBHM; ICMR-JRF entrance exam; ICAR-net for PhD
programme

Terms and Conditions:

1. Age(For SRF posts) : maximum 35 years (Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and
women and three years for OBC candidates as per ICAR rules)
2. The total duration of project is 2 years and the posts are temporary & renewable on
yearly basis based on performance, till termination of the project.
3. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminus with the project.
4. Reporting time: 9:30 to 10:00 AM Venue: Technology Cell, Division of Genetics,
IARI, New Delhi - 110012
5. The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per
the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of
birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, M.Sc/Ph.D. certificate either original or
provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates
from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph
pasted onto the application form
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
7. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the
interview.
8. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or
termination.
9. The candidates are required to submit the application in at the time of interview as per
the format annexed along with the declaration.
10. The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative
is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature
of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach by 15th October, 2013. If on the date
of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his/her relative is an
employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
11. All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly
signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
12. The candidates have to strictly submit the from annexed (typed/ filled) duly signed
and submit on the date of interview.
13. NOC from the last employer must be submitted while appearing for the interview.
