This appendix provides Server and Client details, in table format, of the UDP and TCP network ports (see Table A-1: UDP and TCP
Network Ports on page 110 and Table A-2: IPC Specific UDP and TCP Network Ports on page 121).
This list should be used by IT staff to ensure the mentioned ports are enabled in the customer's firewall configuration to allow proper
functioning of the system.
For completeness, the list may include internal ports used for interconnection between services that run on the same server (ports for which
the destination/server and the source/client are on the same machine). These internal ports may therefore be ignored in firewall
configuration, as required.
Based on the customer's environment, additional ports may need to be enabled to support specific operating system services or third party
software that are installed on the customer's servers for monitoring, alarming, anti-virus protection or other purposes. Consult with the
respective vendor's documentation. Additional information on Microsoft Windows ports and protocols may be found on Microsoft's Service
overview and network port requirements for the Windows Server system support page (KB Article ID: 832017).
Workstation Port
You can open the firewall for all ports, or specify a range of ports to be available for this use and open the firewall on only those ports. The
available range of ports is from 1024 to 5000. You must specify a range of at least 10 ports (configurable in NICE Perform System
Administrator application).
