CAREER OBJECTIVE:
I have completed a double degree in Bachelor of Education in Primary and Early Childhood and am
seeking casual teaching opportunities. I am keen to contribute enthusiastically and positively to the
values of a Catholic primary school community and apply my skills in designing innovative programs
that integrate technology. My commitment is to create and sustain safe and challenging learning
environments and encourage high, realistic expectations for all my students.

QUALIFICATIONS
* 2012-2015 Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Primary at Australian Catholic
University, Strathfield. High distinctions in Family studies and Disability unit and Indigenous
Cultures and Peoples
*2007-2009 National Theatre Ballet School Melbourne completed Advanced Diploma in Arts
(Classical Dance)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
*2015 - Lucas Heights Community School - 3 week block
Developed, planned and implemented lessons in accordance with curriculum statements for Early Stage
1. Assisted in lunch time rehearsals for dance performances. Playground, morning and afternoon duty.
Assisted in planning and helping with grade excursion to farm and Seymour Centre performances for
years K-2
Achievements: My head teacher complimented me on my commitment to understanding the unique
needs of each child in the class and my commitment to support them in their learning.
*2014 - St Christopher's Catholic Primary School Panania - 3 week block
Developed, planned and implemented lessons in accordance with curriculum statements for Stage 2.
Assisting students with class tasks, one to one and in small groups.
Achievements: My head teacher complimented me on my maths lessons relating to real life examples
and mental warm ups being a good way to get students focused and gave opportunities for students to
explain and show their understanding in different ways.
* 2013 - Allison Crescent Long Day Care Centre Responsibilities: Developed skills in observation,
documentation, planning, implementation and evaluation of learning experiences using Early Years
Learning Framework. Established portfolios of children's learning. In collaboration, planned,
implemented and evaluated a range of individual, small and larger group experiences. Facilitated
values of fairness and respect in all interactions with children, families and colleagues.

*2012 - Bradman Road Long Day Care Centre 4 week block

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
*2012- Current Haighs Chocolates Strand Arcade and Queen Victoria Building.
Responsibilities: Cash and safe food handling, opening and locking up premises. Serving customers
and handling enquiries, complaints and problems. Maintenance of stock and orders, training in policies,
procedures and OH&S
Achievements: I was given the responsibility of mentoring and training new staff. I also received
recognition for my high level of customer service, product knowledge and my commitment to exceed
customer expectations and to deal calmly with customers jumping queues, problems or complaints
*2012- Current Little Ballerinas teaching dance through story, movement and play. Assisting with
creating and implementing programs for Director of Little Ballerinas.
Achievements: I have worked with parents and children to help children with additional needs to
participate. Enrolments jumped from 15 to 40 children for my classes. Positive feedback from other
staff, children and parents. One father wrote "We are amazed at how much... has progressed. It is the
highlight of my week seeing my girl so happy."
*2007- 2011 Assisting a family with twins, one child with Prader-Willi syndrome, chromosome
deletion, global developmental delay and complex special needs. Organised and implemented day
outings to use public transport to Melbourne Zoo and Fitzroy gardens.
Achievements: This rewarding role has given me unique insights into the challenges that are faced by
children with additional needs and the impact of these needs on families.
*2007-2010 National Theatre Ballet School, teaching dance 3-7 year olds. Developed and maintained
good relationships with colleagues, children, parents, pianist, and wardrobe department.
*2010 Employed by Deborah Prentice, Dragon Fly Dance to teach and choreograph dance to prepare
children for performance.
*2011 - 2012 Antonio Carluccio's Restaurant and Deli in Covent Garden, London
Responsibilities: Working within a team of over 50 staff and 8 managers. Working alongside kitchen
preparing catering, antipasto platters, slicing, cutting different cheese for restaurant, customers and
hampers for large corporate orders. Handling all cash, eftpos, credit sales on register including refunds
and returns. Barista, takeaway coffee for rush hour
Achievements: Developed rapport and maintained successful relationships with regular customers.
Organised and assisted manager in mentoring and training others in customer service skills, upselling,
OH&S, stock displays, promotions, orders and deliveries. My willingness to undertake specific training
was regarded favorably. I took up the opportunity for training in product knowledge from making
risotto with different types of rice to knowledge about different balsamic vinegars
*2010 Employed by Cardamones Deli and catering family business

*2003 Australian Ballet for winter season of La Sylphide at Sydney Opera house. Had the role of
Effie's sister which demanded acting and dancing with corps
*2004 Opera Australia for rehearsals and performances working alongside choreographer Meryl
Tankard to perform in their winter season. Working alongside musicians, dancers, actors,
choreographers, directors, back stage crew and costume makers

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
*2013 - December Gardener's Road Public School volunteer work with Special needs Unit with
varying additional needs from kindergarten to Year 6. Assisted in the implementation of personalised
learning and support plans. Involved with an excursion into city.
*2011 - Marymount International School, Rome. Two weeks volunteer work with Kindergarten
*2009 - 2010 Volunteer work for Missionaries of Charity, Fitzroy Melbourne. Assisted sisters with
preparing, distributing of warm meals for homeless, spending time listening to others' stories and
working in a team.
